I'm surprise that no one called Nami(55 Adelaide St. East, Toronto) yet.
I thought Nami is a well known place and also is my favourite sushi restaurant.

My two other favourite go to Hiro Sushi(171 King St. East, Toronto) and Inakaya(126 Willowdale Ave. North York)

Gonoe - 1310 Don Mills Road, North York
My favorite sushi restaurant. Been going there for years. Never had a bad experience.

Kokyo - Yonge & Alexander
I go there often. Good sized portions. Sashimi has always been fresh.

Sushi Island - College & Manning
Best AYCE sushi.

it's not at that intersection
it's either Isabella or Dundonald

sorry guys I mixed it up with TOKO on Isabella street

I always wanted to check out the one on my street (I live in one of the tall white buildings), what are the prices like?

They are average prices but if you want amazing sushi for an amazing price, go to Japango. The best Sushi I've had in Toronto, on Dundas and Elizabeth

Posted by Tordan on Jan-18-2010 19:17:

Kris, if ever you wanna check it out give me a shout. Gail & I are always up for Kokyo We were there over the weekend. Have you been to Sushi Sky just a few min away? Well, the prices at Kokyo are a bit more expensive than Sky but better quality.

coolio, thanks
I wanna check out Aji Sai on Queen though

Sushi Club @ Bay/Charles street is good (a few TA's have been there thanks to my advice ) - $6.99 lunch specials are very filling!
Sushi Inn in Yorkville - $10 lunch specials are YUMMY!
Sushi Rock @ Yonge/Eglinton - best sushi/salmon pizza I've tried, BIG rolls and moderate prices

I've only been to a sushi place across the road, I think it's opposite the Yonge Grill (no idea what it was called), but otherwise I haven't checked out any of the places in my area

I shall! I totally forget that Gail is my neighbour

Posted by dgame on Jan-18-2010 19:24:

Sushi is a great thing, bringing everyone together lol. I need to be a bit more open when trying different types of Sushi, I tend to stick to the same rolls.

Another great Sushi place is Sushi Lovers on Lonsdale and Spadina.

There is a location in Milton as well....its probably my favourite in Milton.

Milton has a Japanese Buffet as well....which is a little more expensive then Aji Sai but they have more variety.
