This was by far one of the best events at the docks that I have been to. The music from each of the headliners were either what I had expected, or more. The set up of the main room was quite minimal which was nice for a change. No glitz and glamour. We were there to dance. The strobes became a little too wild at times, but other than that no complaints. Spent the entire night in the main room, except for one step into the back lounge to sit down. Couldnt stay because the music was just not that good. Even though there was a mix of musical styles everything pulled together perfectly. After each DJ finished, there was a quiet pause, a thank you and the next DJ started. It was as if a new party started each time and it worked so well.

Martinez Brothers These boys have some serious energy and a lot of great tunes. It was nice to be able to do some ass shaking from the start of the night. As Cribby mentioned, some of their songs were a little too big room but lead to a energetic vibe from the start of the party always leading in to a deep bass drop.

Honey Dijon Never disappoints. Miss Honey was on fire. Bangin Chicago style house which just kept getting harder as the set went on. Her lead in to Satoshi was perfect. Then the lights cut down. Back lights came up.

It was time for Satoshi. From the first track he dropped I was captured by this man. His set had such a perfect flow from start to finish. The brooding sinister driving prog just melted me into the dance floor. I could have listened to him for hours. Too bad it had to stop at 6. Some of his transitions completely floored me, leaving me speechless. Its not often I stop dancing and just applaud the DJ during his/her set. Satoshi deserved it. He played exactly the intense music I love to hear; the prog train was out and had a conductor driving us full force into the underworld with a sound track of Pure Raw Beats.

Yes to a SECOND amazing party this weekend! Win win!! Seriously love partying at the Docks, it's such a nice change from the regular weekend circuit! I found the music in both the main room and Liberation lounge to be right on all night. At points I found it hard to choose which room to be in, so I felt like I was running back and fourth. The Martinez Brothers were absolutely amazing. Serious party tunes to get everyone moving! I think I enjoyed dancing to this set the most over the span of the night, just too much fun! Honey Dijon started out her set really nicely but lost me halfway through. I just don't ever seem to be able to get into her completely. She plays some tracks that really get me grooving but I usually just end up getting kind of bored. Which is why I spent a good chunk of that time with Addy. WOW can this guy kill it. He played some serious drummy bangers. I'm pretty sure it was impossible to stand still while in that room, definitely one of the best parts of the night for me. However, the set that left the biggest impression on me was Satoshi Tomiie. Slow and progressive is the exact definition of what I dislike in EDM (or so I thought?). But Satoshi was absolutely incredible. The intensity in that room while he was up there was ridiculous. Crazy lights (maybe a bit too much strobe near the end) added to the dark, driving tunes he was playing. Overall, a very successful night with a nice variety of music. Can't wait to party at the Docks again!!

Arrived at 3 to my first Miss Honey Dijon set. For the most part I really enjoyed it. Definitely want to check out a FW set from her. I was only able to catch a small bit of Joee Cons in Liberation Lounge but his set had me moving. Addy was on after and was just fucking mental. For the love of god this guy was KILLING it! I DESPERATELY want to see this guy return to Comfort Zone because I missed 'the addy era'.
I officially blame Addy for making me not able to enjoy Satoshi to the full extent. Although he played a set I thought was fantastic, I just wasn't able to get fully into it after listening to Addy play so hard. Damn you, Addy! Damn youuuuuuuuuuu!!

told ya so :P

Seems like most of the reviews on here covered the bases, except I have to add that Switch was up to his wobbly tricks in the back room and he was havin' a blast playin for that small yet energetic crowd. And the same goes for Pat Mahoney and Andy Butler, droppin' some spacy trippy house music that was full of groove.

Fun fun fun all around Sat night!
