What reasons do you have to assume that a parent's sexual orientation may be in any way detrimental to the child simply because they are homosexual?

alls i knows is when i was a kid, there was this haunted house down the road. so I was with my two friends pauly and Daniel, and my cousin Jimmy "the head" who was like 21 at the time, he was a big fuckin dude used to smash brains. so we was at the end of the street and we was looking at the house and my friend pauly wa slike i heard that house is haunted and ghoysts live in there. so my cousin jimmy being all tough was like "o ill go take a look" so he disappears for like a while. and we all creep closer to the house and look in, and we see my cousin jimmy walk down the hall and two shadows follow him. we then heard some moaning and whimpering. I am probably the only one here who's against gay marriage.

No, I do not think they should be "married" per se, but I am for adopting some other legal "partnership," just as long as it's not termed marriage and that this "partnership" does not entail the partners receiving whatever benefits/tax regulations/etc. the government sets for married couples.

You can call me a bigot, a heartless person, an idiot, or whatever label that means absolutely nothing to me, but that's as far as I'm willing to compromise.

I'm all for liberal ideas (or whichever term you prefer), but I must draw the line somewhere.
