Ok update here from Chicago� John Dahlback + Spybar was a fail!!!!!!!!
Well I got in with Dave and theSauce23, no line no search no nothing! Walked in, looked like a nice venue. However the sound quality has to be the worst thing I have heard in a very long time. The opener for John was really really shit�tacular I spent most of my time of his set shaking my head at how he was booked at all. And this set the tone for the rest of the night as John was watching closely and seeing what the crowd liked. And ugh! He gave it to them, sometimes electro-ish some vocal house to a techy track here and there, however he does not share jon jons talent to quickly change genres with out awkwardness. Which enviably lead to a very confused sounding set. I must say we are lucky in Toronto, really spoiled, every time i party in the states it makes me realize this.

On the other hand, I met some great people , from the looks of it going back to spybar tonight for sultan. Wish me luck.

I talked to his manager and told him that Footwork will expect Johns A game, and he will need to blow last night out of the water. So heres hoping it goes better for all of you!
