This is also what I did, and turns out even though both thumbs are in a prime spot to press spacebar, only my left does so. Strange thought. This thread is strange.

I am a right hand person and I use the left thumb to press the space bar while I am typing.

Both at the same time. If I feel I haven't pressed both thumbs at a reasonably similar time, I throw the keyboard away and replace it with a new one that isn't poisoned by mediocrity

I've noticed that, while I tend to hit it with my left thumb most of the time, my right thumb likes to "rest" subtley on the spacebar and, about sixty percent of the time, will lightly tap the spacebar at the same time as my left thumb.
