Lol not at all. I don't even enjoy them anymore. The thought gives me a headache.
I really wanna quit smoking...it's a hard habit to let go. Since a couple months, I'm pretty afraid of having a cancer pretty soon. I've been smoking for the last 9 years now, I think it's time to quit...I will fix myself a date....I only smoke about 2-3 cigs per day when I am busy...but it can go up to 10-12 when I'm drinking with my buddies....plus the girlfriend hates it....

I'm a hard core nicotine addict or maybe I'm a weak willed loser. I've lost count how many times I relapsed and started up again. The addiction is always there, waiting to strike in a weak moment. I don't worry about quitting forever. I'm simply grateful when I can string some smoke free time together.
Too bad I started smoking again in October. I had a good year without cigarettes.
I'll quit again. I always do. And then I'll relapse again.

i think the only reason why smoking is the hardest addiction to quit is because of the ease of procuring it and its legal status. because let me tell you, quitting the "big" (i guess you could call it) physically addictive drugs like opiates or benzos is BY FAR much much MUCH more difficult than quitting cigs.
good on ya regardless, jp. i'm coincidentally 9 days into kicking a few bad habits myself.
and yeah, as with almost all physical/mental addictions, the first few days are the fucking WORST. every day gets easier though. think about how you smell like shit when you smoke. smoking is the most repulsive fucking habit out there, imo.

They play off of each other. You don't smoke because you go to the gym/ You go to the gym because you don't smoke and are trying to be healthier. |

I always found it ironic that nurses smoke despite that they work in health care.

My brother bought the fake cigarettes and he said they have been great. He says it feels like smoking and he gets his nicotine fix without the other garbage. He's been using them for a week and says he can breathe better and feels better overall. Not to mention that he doesn't smell like nasty cigarette smoke.
Maybe it could potentially be a good step toward quitting? Get you weened off the other chemicals, and then last step, weened off the nicotine?
Good luck Jenny!

in my dance class i have a gay friend who was also tired of smoking and was unable to quit on his own, the fake cigarettes seem to really help him cope as well.
OK FINE
I'll fucking admit that I had one this past week. But not since Christmas before that.
It was fucking perfect. It was dry outside and the paper was burning so fucking perfectly. And there was no wind and it was cold but not freezing. And it was early evening. And I exhaled long and smooth.
it was fucking good.
You quit? Nah...you postponed your habit. As I lite up my B&H gold, I laugh with an evil smurk, knowing how awesome cigarettes really are. Don't deny it, don't mirror the negative effects it brings, just smoke.
Good for you Jenny!
Your body will thank you
(no, I'm not a militant ex-smoker - just never understood the appeal)
Yeah I always hated smoking. I was dumb for ever starting. I hate the smell, hate the way it tastes, hate the way it makes me feel. The only aspect I ever enjoyed was the hand to mouth and inhalation. It's just so stupid to do something out of boredom or whatever else. Embarrassing really.
Man...I think its your subconsciousness that is fucking with you. YOU FUCIN LOVE SMOKIN. You just don't know it.
