He should be 1 or 2 IMO. All of his sets, cd's, remix's and productions are pure quality, well the stuff i've heard anyways.

Yeah he does apparently. But I don't see anything out of the ordinary about that.

btw: Armin also mentioned that the tracklist you guys made for his Sensation set has mistakes in it. Heh..

Well he should join the board (under an assumed name, of course) and correct it!

Talking

Im so impressed!

Armin vists the site - fuck.

What an achievement!

Does anyone have an idea which other Djs visit the site?

Ive read once or twice Dj Natron or Giotto have posted, can anyone vertify that?

As well as that i remember a message from Rank 1 about their profound disappointment about their album being online...was that directly related to TA or just in genreal?

LOL!

Err....i was implying international "superstar" Djs dude.

Keep at it though, maybe just one day...

Posted by Trancewave on Jul-12-2002 02:49:

Actually we had a discussion about this topic before about famous djs visiting this forum. Quite a few actually come to tranceaddict. I for one always see Plastic Angel here. Very cool!

ppl thought i was crazy for defending God even at a time like Sensation..... he speaks the truth.... God did not dissapoint... thanks armin

i hate to be an asshole, but i think armin cares just a bit too much about what other people think about him. i mean, it looks like he's kinda overreacting as if it is some kind of an awful misunderstanding that could lead to severe consequences. maybe i'm wrong, but that's just how it looks to me.

ah well it's his right to say what he wants and react whichever way he wants

maybe he's just worried he could get bad press after this incident and then get booted off the "chart" by his fans

or maybe he's trying to make sure people will come back to Sensation next year....

oh well .... he's also a person but he's also a dj , international that is , and that implies that if he wants to keep it that way he has to try to sell himself over the others

let's not assume to much, he had his reasons, and I think they were noble; cause maybe he wanted to defend himself and not act like a superstar above it all .... I don't know

I really dont no how he has the time

Cant wait to see him at gatecrasher 8th birthday, and the one on the 25th of august.

^^^LOL
ya armin fucking ownZ!

I cant wait till he comes back to toronto, hoepfully i will have my fake id by then and will b able to see some quality trance!

Posted by TimeportE on Jul-12-2002 09:43:

i know armin did quite a good job on his performance at sensation.. but i think that you can still hear bad mixing from liveset rips, i mean gielen's mixing certainly wasn't flawless and don't get me started on Jean !
the reason armin's set was best imo, it had a build-up.. gielen's totally hadn't!! with gielen it was like a kinds of genre's mixed through eachother (i mean playing Trance & Acid (Derb Remix) after Twisted ??? comeon!).. there was no real line/story in his set!

btw, i don't know if it was id&t or whatever but the live performance by ray sounded terrible on the radio!

Yeah so you guys are better watch what your saying ... looollllll
Armin is the greatest !!!!

Can't wait to see him in Montreal next month...

In another way... it was ID&T's fault for the bad mixing...
but that doesn'T cover that CHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSYYYYYYY track Jean played at the beginning of his set... what was he thinking ?

Posted by Ray_Finkle on Jul-13-2002 19:32:

Ok before I say anything, I just want you all to know that AvB is prolly my favorite DJ right now. The guy is always nice and very open to his fans (like his chatroom)

But he certainly can't blame ID&T for the live version of yet another day. It was a cool concept and it worked in some areas but his brother playing guitar was HORRIBLE!! (not his skill!!). It didn't fit at all and Ray's mic was too high. Should have just stuck with the actual track.
Oh well.

I wonder if Armin will ever come to Cork, Ireland for a set one day.

**hint hint nudge nudge**

I think L-Vee registed the other night too, He said he was going to on the chat anyways. What a guy he is, so relaxed and seriously down too earth.....Amazing man.

no he wont, because only DJs who are worshipped like n-sync, by clueless wannbes who think theyre either cool for voting for sum1 like judge jules, or underground for voting for sum1 like digweed. and i think you will all no it, what was marco V last year, 85th? thats laughable.

btw thats not a dig at those DJs fans, its a dig at the whole "dj of the year" award, theyre a bag of wank and a waste of time, just an ego and value boost for the wanker dj in question.
