Ya, I miss those good ole days, when all the TA's would meet up (before TA was all scattered around).

*edit* the only things popping up in my head around Sunset & Glendale Blvd. are those ghetto outdoors Mexican food stands (not that their food isn't good).
I googled it and can't find anything in walking distance, but not everything is listed online.

there's always the Gold Room at 1558 W. Sunset Blvd, a few blocks east of the Echo. you walk in there and you feel like you're in Scarface -- neon lights, mirrors everywhere, etc. not sure about saturdays, but i've been there on fridays where they have a pint of PBR and a shot of tequila for $4. classy joint. OMG, I was just about to say WTFFFF, he played Outhouse and I missed it?
I can't believe he started so early. I thought for sure arriving at 10:30pm would be early. Little did I know Nathan was on before that! Ughhhh, I can't believe I missed a part of his set. The part I did see was UNBELIEVABLE though. For Tet was also spectacular. They totally deserve to play at a better venue though.
We're so spoiled with the venues and sound systems in Hollywood. I hope the next time Nathan & Four Tet come to LA, it won't be @ Echoplex *hint hint INCOGNITO crew*

haha seriously wtf too! i would of been really jealous! honestly i thought his electric zoo in nyc set was much better! no pauses and flowed so smoothly! his sf set there were no transitions about 3 times so you have silence/pauses between his set. i understand its live but he didnt do that in nyc... same with four tet compared to last year he was in sf. well at least both played a different set
the crowd seemed like a very electronic live only group. i helped promote rebel rave and just the mention of mighty (the club) people didnt care for it. im sure if i mentioned mezzanine who brings out a lot of live acts, i would of got a different reaction.
