But it didn't even make sense, how does where you live have any baring on seeing porn in a theater... if ANYTHING it means its far more likely.

yeah I've noticed it too. The culture has changed.

One other thing, it's getting more expensive to get the American actresses to show their tits. But before the current celebrity craze, that wasn't the case, and they were just your regular run of the mill women.

But the main reason is cultural. In the 70s especially, there were a lot more women in the US than men (a female-biased sex ratio is the fancy term). There were so many women that the culture became permissive and liberal, since men were in a position to easily get what they wanted and women had to show off more skin. Not only did the hemlines rise during the 70s but there was also more nudity on the screen.
