I don't see how the line up won't be fucking sick. I mean come on now people, let's not act spoiled here. Besides, after the set richie threw down last year, that's the only name I'm really looking for!

although some others come to mind. BUT... i dont want to turn this into another I hope for this, that and the other thread.

so ill just say that im sure the line up will be fine. I just want that promo code for the $80 package again

Richie Hawtin was amazing that night. I have never seen such a big crowd behind a DJ booth before. There must have been at least 15-20 people just watching what he was doing. I just he's back for EZ2010!

I'm a bit suprised $130 with fees is the discounted price. There is a $30 increase and I think it's worth it but I can't speak for everyone. I'm also waiting to see if they are going to have some sort of discount as well.

I agree! They should at least announce some names that will be there! That was the reason why I bought the tickets so early last year...

Posted by osterzone on Feb-13-2010 14:08:

This is what Made Event did with ASOT 450 too. They raised the prices up and up but only announced the lineup after they were about $50 or so.

I hope they don't do that with this...I can see these prices quickly getting out of hand.

Posted by acetate212 on Feb-13-2010 21:49:

A lot of apparent greed on Made's side here, selling tickets for an event that's not only way til the end of summer (it's still fkg snowing here, dammit!) but no lineups have been announced. they already did this for armin without announcing the lineups but doing this for a september event is too much. not to mention the exorbitant 'discounted' price. both ez days will be great though, no doubt about that. but still..seems a bit greedy on their part.

anyway, for those of you looking to not pay the $26 service charge, I'd recommend buying your tix at Rebel Records in downtown Manhattan. you pay $3 service charge for regular events there, so for an event like EZ it def won't be as much as when you buy online. only catch is...it's cash only. hope that helps

Is this confirmed? From what I know, they don't do this until much later and only do online sales for early birds.

yea last year they didnt start to sell them in the store till later on like maybe mid summer

it is kinda shady tho how they put tickets on sale but no line-ups
i belive trance energy and a few other festivals do the same thing

but with all the great feedback from not just the fans but also all of the dj's who played i hope alot of them will be back along with some new faces and maybe even some locals

they won't have tix right now but it's possible they might have them in time with these prices, who knows. you should call up rebel to find out for certain, the owner is a really chill dude. sux though, feb-sep is a long time, they'll bump up these prices to ridiculous amounts by then

however..where would we be without Made?

Don't kid yourself. Without Made, there would've been some other promoter doing the exact same thing. Just sayin'.

amen.

I bought my ASOT tix straight away because I knew I wanted to go regardless-- it's trance. but with EZ last year, one day was heavily housey & the other day was more trancey. I've got nothing against house but it's not my preference, so I'm going to wait for the lineups this time...

...but if the price hikes for ASOT are any indication, I'm afraid this is also gonna skyrocket to a stupid level before even partial lineups come out and I'll be stuck begging around for people with extra tickets to sell.

*crosses fingers*

Posted by edubbz on Feb-14-2010 20:34:

well, from the the success that it was last yr..it was only in their right mind that they knew they would make a killing in the following yr to come! and so, they did and taking quite the advantage to it..i wonder how much tix are going to be when EZ 2010 is right around the corner hmmm

anyways, from last yr- i told myself, i was going to jump on the early bird tix no matter what...if u think theyre expensive now, dont wait around any longer to imagine what you might be saying later on. all im saying is, they BETTER have a carl cox w/ friends tent up in there shiiiiiiiiiiiiiet!!!

Posted by Neonbeats on Feb-14-2010 20:47:

I think they should be careful with the prices. Without a lineup announced sales are gonna sluggish imo

Posted by mcadrenaline on Feb-14-2010 20:49:

I agree what all that has been said here.

I do trust that we will get a killer line-up though that will be money well spent. Last year was their first year and it really damn near close to what UMF has been bringing to the table for many years. This year has to potential to be even bigger.

I definitely think Carl Cox would be a nice addition, as would above&beyond and some of the extended Anjunabeats crew (Super8 & Tab, Daniel Kandi, etc.) for us trance lovers.

Yeah with these prices I'd expect a massive lineup. It helps that the Ibiza residencies don't fall on Sat/Sun so conflicts should be pretty low.

Posted by yankeeBaby on Feb-14-2010 23:04:

I hope they stack the lineups similar to last year. Last year I was super-pleased that I got to do a full-day of rockin techno, just to have all the time in the world the next day to see my big names and house/trance DJ's on the mainstage.

SUCH a perfect lineup (for me) last year.....

seriously? Cascada still exists? Dam.

There's no way the lineup is not gonna be crazy. I actually
liked day 1 slightly better than day 2 last year; Def goin both days

I don't even wanna kno how high the ticket prices R gonna reach this year... I suppose it's only fair tho, since I didn't have to pay for tickets last year

Posted by osterzone on Feb-15-2010 01:39:

It would be so awesome if they had an Anjunabeats/Anjunadeep tent on each day of the festival. For example...

Saturday (Anjunabeats):

Above & Beyond
Super8 & Tab
Daniel Kandi
Mat Zo
Nitrous Oxide
etc.

Sunday (Anjunadeep):

Jaytech
16 Bit Lolitas
Solarity
Boom Jinx
etc.

i'm going to do regular tickets this year, VIP was such a waste of money...

i was thinking more of the lines of dj pauly d from jersey shore
i bet made event and rob promotions are in a bidding war to see who will bring him here first

as for ez i hope they keep the same kind of format with genre's and dj's for the most part
at ultra and some festivals in uk i see alot more "live acts" and bands that have been dominating the lineups

there are only 2 live acts i would really wanna see
push live and plastikman live
other then that i just hope to hear some good beats
