Is there something like this from FF8 onwards? If so...link me!

8 was absolutely terrible, especially compared to how good 7 was. Shit battle/magic system (drawing)

I quite liked the drawing system in FF8. The only downside was that if you use magic while having it junctioned to attributes, then it slowly weakens the character. But that's just a bit more of a challenge then.

FF7 was da best..followed by FF9. FF8 was ok but I didn't like that all the characters were basically interchangeable with abilities. The draw system took away the unique attributes most RPGs have for the characters (one good healer, one magic dude, one guy with strong physical attacks, etc) Everybody could basically do everything, and that sucked.

Never liked games where you take turns with the AI hitting each other. Great storyline and videos though!

Yeah, I can see your point...

The limit breaks on the other hand... Huge difference between characters. And when you get to the high end of the game, that stuff is the most fun, and you've worked towards getting your characters sorted to be HARDCORE!

9! i loved 9. i kind of think 10 was better though. I just remember 10 was the first time i put a game in my ps2, watched the intro, all the while 'hollyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ........' to myself.
9 had a better story though.

and yes, 7 was amazing. i wish i still had it to get going again - i never bothered going through a second time with a walkthrough to get ultima etc.

and +1 on the limit breaks mentioned above.

Try Advance Wars 1 & 2 on gameboy. Guaranteed to change your mind.

Nothing stitched together, just separate FMV available online at http://bluelaguna.net/splash/ff.php

As for games, what i used to do with FF titles is buy the game, put it in the PS2, listen to the first cutscene with terrible terrible english voice acting, take the disc out in disgust, download the UNDUB version from the internet, then play that version (original japanese voices with subtitles) while the original disc rots in a box somewhere.

This is why i loved the Disgaea games so much...buy the english version, go under options and behold...you have a choice between english and japanse voices! Thats how its supposed to be done!

I was excited for FF13 until I played Mass Effect 2.
