we have a parking spot included in our condo, and i got an awesome awesome rate on it....like 160 everything included for the week......partying mostly downtown, so wont need to park or take taxis

We're doing the same thing. Parking spot at our condo. The car is costing us $140 out the door for the week and it's gonna be $80 for the two of us just to take the shuttle to/from the airport. So for $60 we have a car to drive to downtown parties as well as to The Everglades after the conference. Airboat ride FTW!

wonder if it'd be worth it to book a car to take me to the beach instead of a cab or shuttle...

anyone know of any good services?

Scheduled to arrive MIA Tues 3/23 8:20 pm. GoShuttle looks like my best option so far, unless anyone else is getting in Tues evening. I'm going to Markus, so hopefully the flight isn't delayed much...

it's much cheaper to rent a car if you're flying into ft. lauderdale and you have a free parking spot for it at your condo.

Its still early for this, but I figured I'd get a feel for who/what/when/where/how.

I'm flying into Fort Lauderdale Wednesday and land around 10:45am.
Looking for ANYONE else who's gonna be coming in around that time on that day to split the cab/shuttle, etc.
Last year that ended up being a fuckin expensive cab ride and I'd like to avoid that this year if I can.

use this thread to network with flights on other days, etc.
And someone gimme a ride!

i think i get in about the same time.... i'm waiting for some friends to finalize their flight info - if they don't come in at the same time as me i might be up for splitting a town car (about $70 +tip or so).

hey if there's more people coming in around the same time as us, splitting a car is a great idea. Anything to save time/money.

Dude, believe or not the us customs officers treat me a lot better than those pricks in Colombia.
Cali's airport is a bitch they will probably take an x-ray from my stomach (so humiliating)
