Nah, old tune from 2000. I have no idea what he does nowadays, but according to Discogs he doesn't produce anymore.. really too bad.

sweet mix dude, this is the type of stuff i used to listen to when i first discovered the "scene". it's funny how i recognized a few of those tunes by sound but had no idea what they were until now.

specifically: Rouge - Retro Piano

perfect. the flow is epic for my ears at least and just goes so nicely. The standout tunes for me being guten morgen and wave cruising, but all of them are good. Since your first mixes that you sent me you seem to have come a long way in the sense that your sets now seem comfortable throughout and you've obviously put a lot of thought into how they're going to go. This will be going on my mp3 player once I work out where I put it Nice stuff JT

yeah, the guy is saying "je suis un r�ve" (can't get the circumflex over the first e of reve - oh yes I can!!!!) "I am a dream", as the title of the track suggests... maybe it's a sample from an arty french film... or maybe it's a fitting incantation for everything you dreamed this mix could be, truly taking seven dream-filled days until tomorrow...

I've actually got the track from the album Earth Nation - Terra Incognita.

He does credit Jean-Charles Vandermynsbrugge for the vocals and the lyrics, so maybe not a sample from a movie after all?

I remember listening to a few of the mixes you mentioned, but didn't like it as much as the one from the album. I'm interested to see how Hallucinogen remixed this though, so I'll give that a listen too.

Finally getting around to listening to this... me likey! The intro comes out fairly banging (I've always been a fan of Ashtrax productions... whatever happened to him?), but it slows down a bit towards the middle. Lots of melody and good use of space in the mix.

The Ashtrax track alone already is the main reason why Im grabbing this now!! Will let you know if the rest is equally as good later on

Great flow, although in the middle somewhere there was a point I felt it dropped a little for just a tiny bit, but that was picked up fast again.

Overall really good! Next time I'll be sure to pick your mixes up right away

The mix was top notch Mixing was great, I thought it had a pretty good flow to it, and the track selection was fantastic. You hit the mood perfectly.

I definitely need to look into the few tracks here that you used that I didn't recognize, as well as deeper into Hope Recordings.

Will definitely be listening to this one more than once. Great stuff, mate. Looking forward to another mix from you soon

Guys, I'm really appreciating your comments here I really want to work on my mixing though, because obviously, I like all the tracks I pick for my mixes in some way and sometimes I feel like I don't do them enough justice when the mixing doesn't turn out the way I want it to be.

Since this has been bumped, I thought I'd show my appreciation for it. It's one of my favourite driving mixes especially on a Friday, going home from work. I get the impression from the other posts in this thread that the tracks have been doing the rounds a bit, but I know (virtually) nothing of the genre, despite my best efforts, so it was all new stuff for me The first track is awesome, and then Guten Morgen, Bigi Mantra ... all good!
