it was the second busiest night at footwork ... vibe was amazing ... his set was off the hook and people didn't leave until lights were turned on...so anyone who missed this need to start listening to pop from now on
i made a kinda random appearance with my girl at around 2 30. the place was packed and the vibe was def. there. Musically was soso. Some good groovier tracks here and there but in general pretty bland set. Nima played fashionable nowadays western style tech house but alot of it was too empty with deep/soul influences that i dont at all like. I prefer harder groovier tech, so most of what was played didn't get me grooving really. All in all decent random night (much better than the last time I randomly went out to the guv where mark Oliver played cheesy dated trance) but nothing special.
Cant wait till April 24 - im sure that will be THE fucking party

| Originally posted by Vanos I have a feeling u r one of the promoters man, lol. But honestly, it is kinda lame to call me clueless just because i have a different opinion. I am very well aware of his sound, the kind of artists with similar sounds etc and in general all sounds in techno/minimal/tech-house. The fact that you think it was amazing does not mean that i everyone had to like it or otherwise they dont know their shit. I have my own tastes, but enjoy a broad range of techno/minimal/tech-house sub-genres, so the fact that i like sendil doesnt really mean i necessarily have to not like nima gorji. Even though I must admit he is just ok for me. I really liked his track conspiracy when it came out other than that i dont particularly dig his sets or productions. Last night i kinda randomly showed up because there was nothing better going on anyways. I did not come with high expectations and did not leave disappointed ) i would say in general his set was approximately what i expected. All in all i had an ok time, the only bummer was that at number of times he would build up and the crowd would get crazy exited but then he would drop "empty" beats kinda killing the vibe. |
