I'm confused. Last year they had MSTRKRFT, Crookers, Bloody Beetroots and Steve Aoki in the KH but this year there isn't a single name that represents those genres at all.

Granted last year was the first time I'd heard of Decadence, but is it usual for them to shift so drastically in style from one year to another? 'Cause it was my understanding that the KH was jammed last year and the party was awesome so I can't understand the change.

Its usually a cluster fuck of genres. Last year was probably the worse KH line-up ever for this event.

After the stories from last year's party, I would have liked to see a similar line-up too. I would have checked it out.

Although this is a massive line-up, they aren't taking risks in any manner whatsoever. They're playing it as safe as they can. It would have been nice to see a smaller room like The Drink or Orange Room have a little bit more of a niche appeal. Guv used to do this at most of their all-access events, but not anymore.

IMO Guv all-access events have really gone down hill not necessarily in attendance, but in quality over the past couple of years.

I wasn't there but couldn't agree more. That Aoki, Beetroots, Mstrkrft Dim Mak "electro" house is awful.

Im actually pumped that house is in KH....especially sander k, but ticket prices are gross

I plan on crashing early Thursday night and rolling in around 4:30 for Sean Tyas

Hopefully the Jersey Shore crowd will have thinned out by then

Is that for sure or just a guess? When is Guetta playing then?

Posted by High on PSI on Mar-05-2010 20:46:

$65 ? If there was any certainty that the GUV wouldnt be packed to the tits I would gladly spend it. But, I think we all know exactly what that main room will be like, and it isn't pretty. Not spending $65 for that crap.

Yep... and thoese were some memorable nights long ago. Use to only cost 15 bones too.

Anyone remember Armin's first gig in Canada at the State 01 party at the Docks? If I remember corectly it was along side Orkidea...

Damn I'm old. ;o)

Well I'll still try to make it to ASOT 450. After watching his climb to the top I give him props for always remembering T.O. He's a rock star DJ now but I still enjoy the tracks he spins.

Go Armis! ...if you know what I'm talking about.

ya this party is going to be way over packed. plus Aly n Fila at 3 a.m. is going to be sleep fest. Showing up at 4 to catch 2 hours then bounce isn't worth $65...

waahh waaah boohoo.
people paid $100 just to see armin in vancouver so i think these prices are more than fair.

they also pay like 60 euros or so to see him in Europe, what's your point? I think it's fine for us to complain about prices because I don't think there was an all-access event THAT expensive yet

Posted by Wurm on Mar-08-2010 00:44:

I would pay $60-$100 for a huge lineup and the capacity of the ACC, but not to turn the Guv into a sweatbox.

The only times I've seen him in the main room were Guv 7 Year and 8 Year Anniversary.

I REALLY wish this was in KH, but I like the idea of everyone playing other sets in the Drink.

let me add usually tix for labour of love go for 50 to 55 bucks and the lineup is somewhat good
as for decadence you have one of the biggest house dj sander kleinenberg around however
not sure what to call david guetta... as for asot the lineup is huge were lucky to get a
chance to see new djs play at the guv!

Your message last turned me from a "FUCK THAT SHIT NO WAY AM I GOING TO DECADENCE" to a "Maybe yes "

Anyone know how much PDR is selling tickets for?

David Guetta is definitely one of the BIGGEST house names - Regardless if you like him or not.
