Ok, I dunno why I didn't put this together before...

The marathon runs along Hollywood & Vine on Sunday. Which means:

a. We might have problems getting to Avalon if the roads are closed at midnight (trying to get details now)
b. You shouldn't park below Hollywood (alas).
c. When you leave in the morning, you 100% won't be able to cross Hollywood easily.


Anyone from Avalon know any more details?

Hi guys. I just wanted to give you all a heads up that I have a friend who is a part of the event happening before Digweed (It's a Dreamworks event) and he says their event is going past 12:30am and that the doors for Digweed are supposed to open at 1am.

Looks like 3:15am. Which means, you should still park above Hollywood.

Those lots are gonna be packed... Parking might be a real problem.

Not true. Nice try from someone who suspiciously just registered today. Doors open at 12 Midnight. Dreamworks event wraps at 11.30pm. Kazell goes on at Midnight, then Diggers at 2am.

If someone is coming in here trying to spread false info, that's pretty dirty and not gonna be said by some random person.

Nothing dirty. Just giving the heads up. My source is reliable. I just want people to prepare for it in case it does happen. I'm going to see Digweed and I don't plan on waiting in line for an hour.

Thanks for the heads up! I totally forgot about the street closures around that area. LA Marathon route & street closures

hope to see LATA family in few hours at Avalon! last night of my trip...

Michelle and I will be there.

As far as I know, Hollywood & Vine will be closed at 3:15a. You should be able to _walk_ from the Metro tonight, but you won't be able to walk across it when you leave.

I found out from my friend at the city that the road (Hollywood & Vine) re-opens somewhere between 9:50 - 10:00am.

12:25 and the line for Avalon is a clusterf*ck! ONE line for everyone...cash, will call, guest list...WTF? It goes back to the north past Yucca. Don't they ever learn?
