I went last year and it was phenomenal. Complete cluster fuck during PVD's set but the pool party was one of the best Ive been to.

accidentally saw Jes last summer when she sang to old tiesto songs before Matt Darey and it was horrid. I have no idea why she gets booked anywhere. We almost left it was so bad, thank god it was only 30 min or so

haha yea she is very very bad. I mean I am all about not lipsynching and true vocals. But she is awfull. Aruna Abrams is great and might be there that weekend - try hitting her up. Crossing fingers she isnt doing a solo set before singing with the others.

But yea besides her solid lineup. Looking forward already. Last year had great weather as well.

for those that don't know DT has been a major influence on Markus and Markus is older style was a reflection of how DT used to play

I think she is amazing and the reality is some of her track have been monsters.

I am happy and proud to have her on my line up as not only is she a good person her voice is amazing.


Who knows as maybe that one night she sounded like that was my fault and something was wrong with the way we set up the sound that night?

i think having jes do a couple songs is a good idea.

hearing/seeing a trance track being sung live is fun and adds a different element in the club setting.

hey shafer8, cant wait to see the new show at perfecto. i think the alien thing has seen its day.

i agree with djjoshallen, last year's pool party was wayyy fun, lots of peeps dancin, etc. but the party at night was way too crowded and pvd was letdown.

Im on my way to vegas right now. Gonna head to perfecto and obessions this sat. see yall there

as for vegas, it will not be on the map for techno/tech-house djs and producers in the foreseeable future. it's a transient town with people looking for serious booty-shaking party music. i know this as well as anybody. honestly, i was just looking to throw a wrench into this thread

So what are a rundown of events for this weekend that people know?

Is Wet Republic confirmed? who is on what days?

Other events?

The Nevada, etc. thread hasb't been updated in months.

The web site will be up in a few days that will explain everything. I also will do my best to take care of TA's the best I can just like always.

Hey folks, this is going to be my first trance event in the US so I'm really looking forward to it!

Anyway, all this stuff about hosted bar / non hosted bar - I've had a look around and basically hosted means the Ketel One and champagne is all complimentary - so that seems a no brainer in that the hosted bar is the way to go (I like a good drink as anyone who knows me will know!)

But the VIP stuff - is that worth it or is it just a case of you get access all areas in terms of the other clubs?

I notice it shows the time on the VIP ticket as 9pm whereas on the others it's 10pm - does that mean that's the time you have to be in by or the time you can start going in? Sorry I'm just new to how things work out in this part of the world!

Anyway I look forward to this - not quite sure whether to just dress up smart what with it being Vegas and all or whether to just throw on the tried and tested I Love Trance tshirt I copied from Alex Morph
