This will be my first time there and in the NYTA forums we have a party planner with dates of all the parties and dont see one here?! So where would you recommend to go that has good trance and house music?

Besides partying what is there? Like sights or attractions?

lol.

sorry, but where the fuck do you guys come up with these bookings of people from other places that no one knows about? serious question too, because stop trusting franco fabi please

for the same fee you could probably get some real north american house talent that would really create a buzz...this guy is a fucking joke.

For friday i suggest salon pearl, they also have good djs, and its mainly techno/ tech house playing on fridays.

David Tort was my personnal favourite producer of 2009, and it's the same thing for a lot of Montreal Djs

He played at Sundance at Beachclub a couple years ago as Ruff & Tort and had back then some serious productions aswell

I booked David Tort because he's a sick producer and an awesome dj

By the way, I love March 2010 new users bashing events for no reasons

This is probably Elfreak who got banned for the 20th time

Next ...

c'est moi, pis relaxe..j'ai droit de te demander une question?

favourite producer? really? c'est du brie ca...je m'excuse.

i just said that you were the prettiest thing in aria today...

also am i the only one who hates the time location? I park right beside it every time i go to the Bell Center, because it is a "secret" free parking place when there is no hockey...i always get cruised by the homeless dammit.

i'm not bashing, i am asking a question as i shop for music as much if not more than you

shit...sorry.

hey man whatever floats your boat, we all know that circus is more about pills than music anyway.

I don't see anything else than bashing in this post

Question would be : Who's David Tort ? I've never heard of him in the past ...

At some point I was playing about 6 tracks from him

"Acid" was a sick track, Morillo was playing it at everyone of his gigs for over a year and it was the biggest track on his last compilation ...

Isnt Morillo a real North American House Talent ?

A-Side, the music sucks there. I go to B-Side which is next door every now and then, fun crowd, music is 60s-90s all genres, modest drink prices, good looking anglophone crowd aged 20-25.

If you wanna hit up a titty bar, check out Kamasutra on St-Dominique right off of St-Laurent and Prince-Arthur. Classy joint with beautiful women.

If you end up there, grab a smoke meat sandwich at Schwartz around midnight when there's no line. World famous smoke meat joint.. any time during the day there's a rediculous line up. It's not worth waiting an hour for like a lot of tourists do, but grabbing one with a cherry coke at midnight is worth your while.

Remember, all the tourists are on Crescent street but St-Laurent is where the party's at.

Posted by epicaricacy on Mar-11-2010 03:04:

look i went overboard (hey i get banned every other week it is normal)....that being said i am past the age of your clientele so don't be offended. I buy a lot of music and i've never heard of him, so relax, don't do it, when you want to go though it

i'm not hurting your business at all, so don't get mad...i like you, you are a real person and one of the very few.

sorry but morillo has sucked for a long time, we are in 2010....classic house is back, fucking go for the oldschool by all means, but good ones like chez damier or other guys.

stereo has booked old school suckhouse too like hex hector and hector romero...good luck, i really do wish you guys success.

09vdubgti, Montreal is an amazing city, you're sure to have a great time.

David Tort has some excellent productions. Nice booking.

Posted by epicaricacy on Mar-11-2010 03:21:

check your pm we don't need to do this in this thread.

Posted by malek on Mar-11-2010 03:56:

Real tittie bars are not in Montreal but around, check the south shore.... or Laval

Posted by epicaricacy on Mar-11-2010 04:14:

lol malek goes to le doric.

rocking producer!

Thanks everyone for there help. I really do appreciate it, but now im a bit confused on what to do.

Thursday since my gf said her parents aren't letting her come im definitely going to a strip club. Maybe hit up a couple of bars, ill keep it simple look around and stuff.

Friday- I still have no plans for the day or which party to go early. Cosmic gate definitely im attending that.

Saturday- Bassment/ then comes the hard part Chus & Ceballos @ stereo or David Tort @ circus?? Basically Ive seen Chus & ceballos and they are awesome, tbh i never really heard of david tort but reading through these comments it seems as though he is awesome too. So I guess ill have to put ti out as this which club is better Stereo or Circus? Which one attracts wilder party goers/chicks? Who has better drink prices?

Stereo has a world renowned soundsystem. By law, last call for alcohol is 3am, and both Stereo and Circus are afterhours, so there's no drinks.. energy drinks and water pretty much are your choices. Both clubs have a great vibe and awesome crowds. Keep in mind that there will be a lot of gays whichever club you choose, and the girls that are there, aren't really looking to get hit on.

If you don't have a personal preference for the DJs, I'd go to Stereo for the sound system.

what's wrong with bassment? it's personal preference i guess, but i'd take it over karma anyday. good crowd, nice underground space, and the sound has greatly improved since its opening.

karma is definitely a "nicer" club, but to me, that's all it has.

More party girls at Circus, but if you talk to in-the-know clubbers and tell them you passed up a chance to got to Stereo in Montreal, their reaction will tell you what you missed out on. It is also one of Chus & Ceballos' favorite clubs, so they put more into their parties there than you're likely to see at other clubs.
