noobie q if you wanna take a friendly advice or 2 :

1. bring somebody who's gonna be worthwhile your air time
2. play some good beats
3. work on your UMMM's and AMMM's
4. there was more dead air that in the first 30-40 min i managed to listen that night than around fat hooked after she farted. do something about that.

or, dont take these friendly advices, keep feeding the troll and keep enabling this twisted circle of...i dont know what to call it.

I didn't know you had become the queen o marketing all of a sudden. You're fascinating; do u have stars on every single media show in the world? The whole interview started off wrongly. He was to come in, I could have worked with him better by seeing more non verbal cues. I was ovwrwhemled as a result, because my gameplan was thrown off and TA showed a sudden interest in my show an I was trying to manage the music and calls at the same time alone. Also I don't know if Nick was doing a pisstake or if he really was being stalked outside, IF he even was in campus in the first place. I did actually see a random person peering into the studio on an iPhone for some reason so I didn't know what was going on and it made me further confused. I never said I liked or disliked him, it seems as if the cool thing to do on these message boards is to diss other ppl just because some ppl don't obsess over current tracklistings at whatever exclusive party DJ XYZ is playin at. You're just trying to deter away from the real issue about how TA is responsible for the ***** due to looking cool between members to hate on others for petty reasons. I find ppl on message boards on general to be petty about topics sometimes and they start ridiculing others. I simply used my show as a plug for ppl here to hear about *****. I personally only posted a couple of times about ***** prior to him coming on my show. I like his viewpoint on the Canadian music scene but I feel he's a loose cannon as well. So I'm neutral towards him, he mean he could have bailed out on the Q Trip altogether. I'm not here for a publicity stunt, although I'll sign autographs later. I just provided an outlet for ppl to express their opinions on *****, which we are seeing, that there's still continued interest for. Some of you are just shiftng the blame on me now for a situation created by TA now. Maybe my show became too much of a good mirror and there's some that can't take it. I think some of the disses ppl do just degrade the overall quality of the board. This wasn't for publicity, but the ***** thing did cause more awareness so I've been mentioning it more lately and promoting it more on my sig but that's as a result from he ***** thing and last week I created a thread about my show by it was relating to *****

I am first and foremost an EDM DJ. Dj'ing is a great passion of mine and I want To provide an outlet for cdn artists and djs especially in T.O. To voice themselves on what they do professionally. Thanks to those that provided constructive criticism. If I sounded uncertain on the show it's because of nick not coming in, because of the sudden jump in callers, because nick himself avoided half my questions and the weird guy outside be studio. I was doing many things at once. I wasn't aware of dead air in the first 30 mins. I intended to play a minimix first so I'm sorry if there might have been audio problems.

I'm not going to turn this into a flame war but I feel 'Tara' and some of her afterschool cronies have disrespected me and are biased. I have had hate from u and others prior to nick t. Instead of making clever quips and inserting "owned" type of Google images on this site, I urge you or anyone else to call in the show at 905-828-3447. You can project whatever hate you and geoffb have from whtever time of the month you two have at the moment. If anyone else has any complaints, grivences, rants, raves, info on location of Wmds in Iraq or who shot JFK they can all call in. I first and foremost will be playing a mix so this isn't going to be Barnum Baileys all of a sudden. I encourage djs and producers to hit me up from he T.O. scene especially

I'm not gonna lie Nobbie was obviously lost at the interview and yes it was a trainwreck (lets be honest Nobbie). But really, everyone had the option of tuning out and/or NOT even calling in.

This thread is based on a call-in to the show and instead of all the people hating on the show or even Nick T, the thread should've been ignored and let to fade out.

In terms of marketing, hell I think Both Nick T and Q-Trip are benefiting if you all keep fueling it.

I understand that you're just trying to run a show, like so many other people in similar positions, but honestly, this is a complete crock.

I can't speak for everyone here, but the only reason - and yes, I do mean the only reason - that I had any interest in the show to begin with was the prospect of actually being able to speak directly to this gibbering idiot, mono a mono, live on air, and debunk the bullshit he spews about sampling and trademark laws and whatever else.

And he decided to phone it in - literally - because he knew that, and didn't want to get forced into a two-way debate, where he wouldn't be able to just read from his script and ignore criticism.

Maybe you didn't see it this way. Fine, but I am telling you now that few if any people here were actually interested in what ***** has to say about the Canadian music scene. We've heard it all already, again and again and again to the point where our eyes and our ears start to bleed from the torture. What people wanted was a debate, or at least a conversation, not a series of prepared statements read to a passive interviewer listening with rapt attention.

Maybe he caught you off guard. Fine, but allowing him to just run off at the mouth for two nearly-uninterrupted hours did not make you look much better than he did, and pimping this trainwreck of an interview after the fact raises suspicions (however unfounded) that, if you weren't actually in on his game, you were at least excited about the [largely negative] attention you were getting and thus a willing participant.

The fact that you refuse to acknowledge any of this, making hand-wavy excuses and attempting to deflect criticism back to the "trolls" on TA who are "perpetuating" the issue (were we perpetuating it when ***** made no fewer than 15 alts in a single day?) again makes you look complicit in his little scheme. You give him a voice, he gives you controversy, everybody wins.

And perhaps some TOTAs are also tacitly playing his game by engaging him, but the fact remains that he has been banned from this forum, and aside from these couple of threads about your show and the times when he registers an alt to resume thread-crapping, his "brand" presence here is not much more than a few offhand comments, much the same sorts of casual cynicism that one would expect to read about American obesity or the SARS hysteria from 5 years ago. In other words, people are hardly obsessed with the issue, it just makes for a good occasional chuckle.

The mild interest in *****'s Q-Trip interview was likely not much more than a combination of curiosity (at whether or not he converses as poorly as he writes) and low-grade schadenfreude from the same types of people who slow down and rubberneck at a bad car accident (i.e. most humans) hoping for a glimpse of a good trainwreck. I won't fault you for thinking that a "Part 2" is a brilliant idea, but you ought to know that neither of the aforementioned two factors are likely to be repeated: People have already satisfied their curiosity, and without a live ***** in the studio to talk to, the potential for dramatic impact is virtually nil.

I, for one, have very little interest in hearing yet another panoply of piffle from this pusillanimous plagiarist. Like so many others here, I am simply sick of seeing threads about him, and to suggest that this is somehow any of our faults when we didn't create the thread is disingenuous at best. I'm certain that if there were an option to post a reply without bumping the thread to the top, most people would gladly have chosen that option in this case. Unfortunately it's not an option, so here we are.

Now can we put an end to this? You've already posted three threads about the interview - the "should I interview him" thread, the interview itself, and the recordings from the interview - so I think that's quite enough, everybody can stop pimping it now.
