I agree for the most part. Nearly all bootlegs I've heard are crap. But these are superb. It's hard to believe they are not official.

Also, this vinyl was actually released, as you can see here by searching "for an angel." Can someone clear this up? Forgive my ignorance, but if it is a bootleg, how exactly would it be released on a vinyl already?

Same I want the heavenside remix since I only have the hellside remix, don't think it's the dub though.

But doesn't that infringe copyright laws? I don't see how PvD or Vandit would let this go.

they just made this song. and maybe sent to a company that press vinyl. not a big deal. this is not official.

many greetings,

f0x

PS: if Paul hears, Im sure he would get a stroke. hrhrhr

I don't buy it. Something is off here. Why would a company press it? They'd get their pants sued off by Paul if they did such a thing.

Posted by arturob on Jul-17-2002 03:17:

hmmm. some companies presses 100x 12" for around ~~$80

Posted by Blue. on Jul-17-2002 03:32:

I like it, I'd buy it on vinyl

I just got a copy of this on vinyl yesterday!!!!

Let me tell you, this is an AMAZING record.. and by the way, the real name is:

"Fingers Burnt - For a Devil (Devilappella)"

"Fingers Burnt - For a Devil (Mighty Dub)"

its a RED vinyl, and it is not released by any record lable, but rather this artist "fingers burnt".

the only other info on the vinyl is his email address, so it's obviosly a sort of "whitlable" promo, its just not really a whitelable.

hehe you tell em fox! :P
if its good id like to hear this too i think the 2002 version your refering too might be from the forthcoming dvd? where paul said he would remix many classics...?
on a totally unrelated note im hearing pauls essential mix and these first 2 tracks are fucking incredible.

The only acceptable bootleg I consider good is 'Found An Angel'

yay i own! :P
i love you fox
i understand the anti bootleg argument and i understand the pro bootleg argument too its a poor mans remix unless you do some bullshit like dr dre vs for an angel in which cause you should be fucking shot. (yeah im talking to you whoever did that. you fucking knob.) but dont let that take away from the other potential awsome 'rework's YES THATS RIGHT IM GIVING PAUL SHIT!

fucking rework my ass... when ever he rips someones remix he calls it a rework :/ instead of remix too get away with it :/ pffft!
jk i love you paul.

Why put Drifting Away vocals in a remake of a completely different song? Who knows.....
