I am such a mess still. You have to give me some time.
I brought my camera to get lost and only managed to take 1 video. Mr C fuking killed it! Even my boyfriend enjoyed his set.
Mr C played for about 3 hours. He wasn't supposed to play that long. He said - "one more" and then proceeded to play like 15-20 more songs.
I would say the last hour he just decided to play everything with the picth all the way down and so everyone on the dance floor was just dancing in slow motion. It was hella funny.
I wish my bf and I weren't so dead tired by then. It's so hard when you enjoy the music but can't freaking DANCE!

How were you even in there?
I went to VIP once for 5 mins so my bf can introduce me to James Grant & Soraya?? That was it.
I didn't get to hear anyone else. It was so nasty in there!

Moar neked pics

For me it was all about the Swedish House Mafia at Mansion, at Ultra, and at Beatport.
I got to hear Afrojak for the first time at Beatport; I really hope he comes to NYC soon.
Crookers and The Bloody Beat Roots were also a nice suprise at Ultra.
Adam Beyer - I can listen to him play all day as long as there is and I-V attached to me, otherwise I would probably pass out from dancing so much.
and oh yeah Kim Fai, he also needs to come to NYC ASAP!
heres my video review!

Get Lost was by far the party of the conference for me.
I enjoyed everything else we went to but nothing topped it.
Marco and Loco was good but I am officially over Space. I love the Terrace I just can't handle the people any more. My friends were assulted and man handled worse than usual.
Loco and Luciano was enjoyable and I love pool parties in Miami but I have seen the Loco/Luciano combo 4 or 5 times this year and it kinda gets repetative.
We slept through Clandestine. A 2 hour nap quickly turned into a full night of sleep.
Circo Loco was fun but not as much as I expected it would be. We got a Cabana and with that came drama about the cost and they tried to pull shit when we got there. We just went with it so as not to ruin our day.
Get Lost - was not only the party of the conference for me but probably one of the best parties I have ever been too. The music was some of the best I have heard in a long time. I was not bored and it did not feel repetitive at all. Mr. C was sooo good and Matt Tolfrey was a surprise for me. The b2bs on the terrace were bojangles - Seth, Jamie Jones and Damian & Clive henry, Shaun Reeves and Dyed Soundarom. Bananas I tell you... We are all still talking about this party as if it were yesterday. It will take a while for it to be topped. (kinda hoping that Old Miami in Detroit will bring back the memories and be pretty close).
SSFD - after Get Lost I had to lower my expectations for SSFD. We slept in and arrived around 11 just in time to catch the end of Adam and Ida. Overall, I had a great time and Paco was by far my favorite set of the day.
I am now patiently waiting for DEMF.
