just listened to ecos set again...gave me chills...lol my lil sis is lovin it....i love how during blakes set everyones screamin armin...during ecos set everyones screamin eco!!!!
Hmmmmm. Where do I begin?
Was nothing close to a disappointment. Armin definitely impressed the hell out of me. I knew he was getting serious when he dropped "Control Freak"...did not expect that one at all. Props Armin. Major props. Also, I don't care what anyone says "Lost vs. Together" is the shit and I wanted to hear that so bad and my wish was fulfilled.
But lets back track a little. That was the first time I saw Giuseppe and...WHOA! Awesome awesome awesome. I started freaking out when he played Adam Foley's "8AM" and that hard drop made everyone lose their minds.
Now for Mr. John O'Callaghan. Well, I think I set the standard too high for John since I last saw him in 2008. I dunno why I was expecting to hear the nasty banging stuff he makes (more Joint Operations Centre tracks!!!
). When I heard the "Find Yourself" and "Big Sky" mash ups/mixes/w.e., I kinda got bored...instantly. Find Yourself and Big Sky happen to be my least favorite tracks of his. And one thing that sucked (not his fault tho') was that for his whole set, the left rack of speakers kept dying and that annoyed me. I mean COME ON he didn't even play Striker. I've definitely heard better from John, he's gotten a bit soft. But, in his favor, I was really beat after whiling out to Armin and Giuseppe. And it sucks because I actually chose Saturday to see John, and he just came up a bit short. Too slow, too mild...COME ON JOHN, LET'S HEAR THAT 2006 SOUND! 142 BPM!!!!
However, it was the first time I got to see Filo & Peri. I'm a huge fan of their productions AND they played Ashley AND finished with Drops of Jupiter. Definitely impressed the hell out of me and they enjoyed themselves and showed it really well, which was great because they kept the crowd alive...and that's a HUGE understatement.
Really bummed I missed Friday. I especially wanted to catch Marcello's set...but I was somewhere lost in Maryland on my way to Philly.
But overall...great event. It's great to see all the local acts get to play an amazing party like that one. And I mean COME ON it was ASOT 450. It's about time NYC got to host one of the ASOT parties.
EPIC SATURDAY NIGHT!
Went absolutely crazy when Armin killed his set, esp. hearing
Cirez D - On Off Mash-up with In and Out of Love
Dustin Zahn - Stranger To Stability (Len Faki Podium Mix)
Paul Van Dyk - New York City (Super 8 & Tab Mix)
Ben Preston Feat. Susie - Remember Me (Daniel Kandi's Flashy Tribute Mix)
And when Guiseppe dropped Matias Faint - Neitherworld (Heatbeat Remix) ...wow
and not to mention hearing On the Surface (Alex M.O.R.P.H Remix)
If anyone has videos of any of the tracks I named... PLEASE! upload them... and post them up here, thanks!
Awesome Night!!!
Awesome Night!!!

I thought last night was awesome.....due to being late I walked into Armin opening.....and he was AWESOME! Control Freak!!!! I was going nuts, never thought I would hear that song played out again. That alone made my set....New York City was awesome, and of course everyone loved the In and Out of Love mashup, always brings high energy...
I also enjoyed filo & peri and joc, they did a really good job, but I feel like maybe their set times should have been reversed, filo and peri after armin and then into joc would have been better, but no biggie....left three songs into MORPH, dudes whole presence was really left me uneasy, I mean he looks like a truck driver lol...
I had a great time last night, but man, I've been listening to the Eco set for two days now from Friday, and I just can't get over it....if your reading this....great job bro, congratulations....when Armin comes on the mic and says "I think a new trance star is born, I just walked on the main floor and Eco is really ripping it", you know your definitely doing something right....I will not be missing one of your shows from here on out.

Had an absolute blast. Will give a proper review later but for now.
Lange 4 President
Holy shit.. after 2 songs in I turned to Datt and said "THIS is the guy who made 'Out of the Sky?'" Unbelievable! Started off with a BANG! Add to the mix 'This is NY' and his remix of Lost Witness - Happiness Happening? *jizz*
Day 2 rocked soooo much
Giuseppe totally ripped it too. Datt & I heard 'Out of the Blue GO mix' at Ferry last week in Miami and literally - exactly 1 week later by GO himself. Such a sick tune. THE ACCCCCCCCCCCID omg THE ACID oneone!!11one! Did I mention how awesome the acid is in that song?? Ace tune!!!!!!!!!!
& Breakfast & Eco made it *totally* worth it to get there at 9 & 9:30. You guys are hella fun. Casey w/ Slow Motion & Eco with that SICK Burma mash potato! wow!
-100000000000000000pts to Roseland sound system. Shit was not horrible - it was HORRID. I freaking hate it. No mids what-so-ever. It takes forever to realize what song is playing because all u hear is the BOOM BOOM or the really loud highs.
All i have to say is GRRRRRR RROOOARRR WHAT THE FUCK!!!!
when armin came to DC last tuesday we had a request contest for Glow. and everyone was requesting shit like going wrong and in and out of love, blah blah blah. meanwhile, I'm plastering the thing with requests for control freak and seven cities and the markus vs. elevation mix of loving arms. And of course, armin played 2/3, only in the wrong god damn city.
i soo regret not going to this. fuuuuckk my life. CONTROL FREAK!!!!!!! fuuuck you guys are lucky fucks
lol I thought the same thing about Lange. The sound is good in some parts, not in others. Along the sides all you can hear is bass. You need to be out in the crowd to catch the sweet spot. They need to put some tweeters along the sides or something.
deff fun times last night, maybe cause i had more booze in my system or cause every dj was great
breakfast was hardcore
stuart lange should change his name to stuart little lol hes madd small ha ha but he was dropping bangingggggg tunes wow
GO was great just like when i saw him last week at space very high energy tracks
armin- these past 2 nights i will give him credit he made me actually want to go see him again, they werent his best sets but they were alot better then alot of his other live sets he has been doing recently
joc- rippped it apart
filo & peri- were really good except anthem (covered ears)
m.o.r.p.h- ughhh what a let down, he would throw on some really good sounding trance then the vocals would come in and ruin it, how the fuck do you play broken 2night? such a let down
overall very fun past 2 days
heres a few vids from friday night
Pretty awesome they broadcasted it in Trance Energy.

I was there for day 2.
I'm so upset I missed Breakfast and Lange.
But Ottaviani, AvB were sick. AvB stepped it up this time I felt, cuz he was a little dead the last few times I saw him.
I was thoroughly impressed with Filo & Peri and Alex M.O.R.P.H.
And Alex was the last guy I'd expect to look like a trucker haha. And he's from Germany.
Altogether, I had a blast.
Last night was amazing. So glad I ended up going!
It was so nice to meet some of you TAs at the show! You guys were awesome. Can't wait for the next one
YEAHH
Control freak also made my trip from maine worthwhile alone. Armin had a great set, but JOC was the winner for me... i mean holy shit@ Glad i finally got to hear this guy live. Lange, Ottaviani, and Filo and Peri also banged out the jams real PROPER! And i was unaware that Ottaviani played live keys, so that was awesome!!
Lange was SPECTACULAR!!
Armin was AMAZING
JOC IS KILLER HOLY SHIT WOWOWOWOWOW !
FILO and PERI were also amazing.
EVERYONE WAS GREAT (i didn't stay for morph, but from what i hear he wasn't that great.
I think its safe to say that these past 2 nights we all were a part of something much larger than we're used to. WE WERE A PART OF TRANCE HISTORY! Thanks for everyone that traveled from far away, I met someone from OHIO, I traveled from Maine.
