Look I'll almost certainly enjoy it. DX2 by itself was a pretty damn nice game, it's just that it failed to live up to number 1. I'm hoping DX3 will be quite damn good actually, though I've been disappointed before.

Well I hope the gameplay isn�t watered down console shit like mass effect 2. The ambience and story and characters and voice acting are superb, but the 3rd person combat is clumsy and awful bioware lack experience with shooters and fuck it shows. Im sure ill get used to it with more time but at the moment its just painful.

No it's not. The console version is the port. Sim 2000 was built for PC.

Also, just because something was released on another format doesn�t necessarily make every successive release a port.

There�s a difference between copying a game across platforms, and taking the original game and re-engineering it for a platform. Im just saying often when I see people use the word port, they�re incorrect.
