Just got back from a Champions League game as well, Adelaide lost 3-2 in extra time. Heartbreaking. Fuck it was a great game though, we tied it with about 5 seconds left to force extra time.

I think it's because it is too close to Melbourne and Sidney. Unlike Perth and Darwin, which are very far away from the largest cities in Australia, it's easier to go there and see the place is just a small town (or, quoting John Safran, "a hole" ).
