Originally posted by thefunk Hey bud thanks for the info, really appreciate it. Yeaaah i BADLY wanna hit up Tuesday at Amnesia on Aug.3rd .. And supposedly Armins throwing down a 8hr set that night too? :S.. That would be intense.Ive been lookin everywhere for accomodation, even the cheapest hostels are a bit expensive. August is high-season too after all tho... Cocoon eh, I'll have to look into that. I was saying Privilege because its Tiestos night there. We might be better off going to Cocoon night since we will be seeing Tiesto at Unighted in Nice, France on the saturday of that week! Lol.. The locker thing could really help tho. We could stash our backpacks in a locker monday night, check into a hostel/hotel for Tuesday and just pay for one nights worth of stay. So there seriously are lockers all around the island that ppl can throw things in like backpacks? How would that work and where exactly would we go to get one? Once again thanks bro.

Originally posted by cl0wnz0r just returned from fiesta club in playa den bossa - don't stay there. its a waste of money since you get absolutely nothing (except a lot of hidden fees), cannot sleep because you are directly across from space, and have airplanes flying over you at 2000ft since its right by the airport. depending on when you go, i would suggest staying elsewhere and renting a car if you get a good rate. of course, this means you aren't going to ibiza for the clubbing only and want to check out other things. also if you have the money, check out blue marlin for a day.

Originally posted by ravracer16 Hey, thanks. I'm actually staying at the Fiesta Hotel, I think it's just up the road from the hotel you stayed at (I believe they are part of a chain). How were the rooms? What type of fees, besides the safe which I knew beforehand. I'm pretty much stuck with the hotel since I pre paid and got the room for 8 nights for a little over $900.
Yo TA's.. So Its gonna be Monday Aug.2 - Aug 5 for me.. Tuesday with Armin @ Amnesia will be a must-see..Wednesday dont know yet, open to recommendations. We gotta fly out Thursday morning
..BUT Monday night is the toss up. Ive narrowed it down to SHM at Pacha or Tiesto at Privilege.
I'm sorry PVD but my brother and friends dont wanna see the Cocoon party, which kinda blows! Maybe they will change their minds but not into the tehcno scene i guess.. Only trance and house.. I can probly still convince them tho. But if it had to be SwedishHouseMafia or Tiesto, which would you guys rather attend?
I got a chance to see Steve Angello at Vancouver Olympics and he fuckin killed it, awesome show by him.. The bouncers had to actually carry him out since he wouldnt stop playing and the crowd wanted more! Only thing is, he wont be in attendance at Pacha on Aug. 2nd.. Only two mondays he wont be there and Aug.2nd had to be one of them. Fuck!
Ive seen Tiesto a number of times already and would rather wanna see somethin different but if one of the biggest Dj's in the world at the worlds biggest club is a must-see then why not eh?
*Also on a sidenote, for those who have been to Barca and Madrid, any suggesitons for partying there? Must-see late night attractions, etc.?
Thanks boys.
I definetly would go see the SHM. Their parties are just always fun. Angello still has it that he will be performing August 2 on his myspace, so maybe there is still a chance he will be playing.
Nice! Hopefully hes gonna be there then, thanks for the tip bro.. I think if Angello is there then 100% sure we gotta go to Pacha! Angello's energy seems to rub off on the crowd and the atmosphere of the party but all 3 of them are monsters!

Then Pacha it is baby, i'm pumped from the sound of your posts pvd! Hahaha man this is gonna be wild, the youtube fan vids dont do justice.. Gotta get in the middle of the action to feel the madness.
Are there any good websites or forums that you guys may know of that discuss on some wicked travelling advice - like unknown places to visit that the usual tourist misses out on. Since we will be doing a cross europe backpacking trip along with squeezing Ibiza in, i'd def. like to check out some unreal kool things that just make you go "wow"
Thanks for the all help tho boys. Rave on..

Originally posted by Dream Beamz I stayed at a Fiesta last year, although I didnt have problems with airplanes and a club across the street, the place had the thinnest walls and there was a family that woke up promptly at 7am keeping us awake until they left. The guy at the hotel said it was a family hotel, deal with it. LOL Not sure if they are all Family hotels, i cant possibly imaging that club is a family hotel. Just figured I would share what I know

WE LOVE... THE OPENING PARTY!
So here we are. The week we've all been waiting for. The big one. The opening. What more can we say that hasn't already been said in the lead up? Well, plenty actually!
The giant wooden double doors to Space will be thrown open at 4.30pm to welcome the first lucky ravers into the fray - and we can tell you it's well and truly worth getting in early for! On the Sunset Terrace, Jason Bye officially comes out of his San An hibernation to kick off our 2010 season, before we witness the reunion of our favourite DJ-percussionist duo, Balearic legend Alfredo and his smashing good pal Ian C. Rounding it off for the night is Funkagenda, who absolutely belted it last season - we can't wait for his return.
Inside on the Space Terraza, we're very excited to announce this is the ONLY place you'll see a DJ set from Felix and Al of Hot Chip this year. Yep, the only place in the whole wide world, due to their hectic live touring schedule. They've only got Sundays off - so we've booked 'em! But that's not all - joining them is a veritable who's who of loyal We Lovers, James Zabiela, Layo & Bushwacka! and Paul Woolford, plus new monthly resident Mat Playford.
In the deep, dark, cavernous depths of the Discoteca, resident David Phillips returns to his second home behind the decks, warming up the big room for our good mates Audiofly, our new best buddy Martin Buttrich and the techno genius that is none other than Carl Craig. Meanwhile, just upstairs, in the Red Box, The Burlington Project speeds into their summer programming, presenting ViVa Music with David K, Leon, Ryan O'Gorman, Jem Haynes, and Coley LUVJAM.
In El Salon, we welcome the hopping mad Black Rabbit crew, for the first of their monthly residencies. Luca C & Ali Love plus residents Guy Williams and Bones are in control, with the idea to play alternative and unconventional sets as the sun goes down. At the same time, up on the rooftop Premier Etage, Andy Carroll, Mr Doris and Jon Howell will be doing the open-air honours, saluting the sun, the planes and no doubt quite a few shots of Hierbas at the same time!

I think I'm gonna book for the closing parties. Didn't have this planned until I started watching vids
I'll be in IBIZA.. somewhere btwn the dates of 9/4th-9/17th
Hey Fellow TA's!
As a heads up, I'll be hitting up Spain btwn the dates of 9/4-9/17th and wanted to reach out to ya'all. It'd be cool to meet up and also see where everyone's staying, etc. in Ibiza. I've yet to finish reading this whole thread.. but just wanted to say hello first + put my name out there as a fellow attendee!

season is in full swing and the island is getting more packed every week!
unfortunately Ushuaia stopped hosting the Luciano & Friends party on sundays along with Sasha's party on thursdays because of overcrowding, BUTTTT apparently sasha's party will start again next thursday which is very good news! Luciano and the rest of the Vagabundos are still hosting open air parties at random locations around the island on sundays before pacha!
I'll b there for closing parties from sept 14 to the 25th
anyone else going these dates ?

Why not for closings, boss?
