I just quit my job. After 3 years of misery and stress, nothing feels better than walking away giving the middle finger.
I found a new one in the city so I dont have to drive to butt fuck concord, it pays the same, and I have less than half of the responsibilities.
Best part is, my new boss is willing to let me work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday........12 hour shifts, and pay me for 40 hours.
This is going to give me 4 days a week to go back to school, and leave this retched fucking career behind.
The words I hate my job have never meant so much to me as in the last five years. I HATE WHAT I DO.........it feels so good to finally have a plan for a way out.
Now to decide on what I want to do with my life.

Thanks for the support!
Theres nothing worse than spending most of your day being and doing something you hate.
Ive been a machinist/cnc programmer for over 12 years now. Its taken me the last 5 to realize I completely fucking hate it.
Its made me literally sick many times from stress and the actual job environment. Im tired all the time, grumpy, moody, and all around miserable at every job Ive worked at. It almost takes more energy to wipe the slate clean at the end of a work day and come home with a new outlook so I dont piss off my girl and my cats. I hate shop talk, and always try to keep it at work. But sometimes, my bad days reflect on my mood at home.
I have had my eye on audio engineering and music production for years. Its been my hobby for many many years, why cant it be my job>?
Big decisions to come soon.

I love the music, I hate the politics......and thats using the term hate with all meaning. Ya I said it |

| Originally posted by English Rachel Another one for you; Inside Sale/Account Manager Call centre environment - on the phone all day, every day, no face to face Ideal candidate will have a couple years of inside sales exp + some sort of post secondary education + a little bit of transportation sales experience/knowledge Base of $40K, first year on target is about $65K - $80K. Commissions paid once you've covered your base. Expected to make between 60 and 80 dials/day. Call lists will be partially given to the candidates and partially generated by themselves Long term growth is more financial than job related - opportunity to make LOTS of money, eventually grow own sales enough to have own dispatcher and become your own profit center |

There are a number of people on here that have found their positions via me and so I thought I would open a thread to showcase some of the positions that we're working on in the hopes I can help you out by referring you. The first role I am going to showcase is a temp receptionist position at Yonge and College - $14 per hour. Interested? Send me your resume [email protected] and I will refer you to my colleague. Thanks! Rachel |
