Excellent. One of the greatest EM's ever was done by none other than Digweed. This was the 2002 Bedrock 2 year Anniversary party at Heaven, London. Anyone looking for some classic Diggers stuff than check this out. Guaranteed mental instability.

that digweed night at stereo was epic. i think it was like a thursday too, wasn't it?
amazing story from that night..
my friends and i walked outside after the club closed at 10am or whatever and were standing on the sidewalk all kind of hanging around talking and shooting the shit, all of us a little jack daniel-ed up etc...
this really attractive girl comes up and starts talking to me, telling me how much she enjoyed my set. i said "thank you, im glad you stayed so late to listen". she goes on to explain how she is american, but has been following my montreal shows for a few years, as she was going to school in vermont and she always used to pop across the border whenever i played. i was like "wow..thats some real dedication..thank you so much". she then tells me how she flew in from miami, where she is living now, just for that night at stereo. i am, at this point, flattered beyond belief. i asked her how long she was staying in town for, and told her i was playing again that night(friday) and playing a late 6am-10am set and asked if she wanted me to put her on the guestlist. "wow" she says, "two late nights like that in a row, you must get exhausted!", to which i replied "yeah, i might as well enjoy it now, while im young". she kind of gives me a look up and down and goes "yeah you do look a lot younger than on the cover of your hong kong cd"
hahaha. awesome.

im not doing a big night out until Sasha or Digweed play in t.o next!
not many dj's that can get me to come out anymore... LOL
So glad he moved towards the techno sound, but kept the progressive feel.
I'm listening to his EM now, not sure how I like it, need to listen again.

Wow that digweed essential mix is fucking incredible. The mixing alone on that set makes it spectacular. Its gonna be another 2 years+ until he probably does another one.

It was truly spellbinding. I ended up listening to it every one of the 7 days that it was on the BBC Radio 1 website...and then I recently discovered www.essentialmixes.net
