Show everyone your tattoo, Bas. I just wanna cuddle with it, it's so cute.

My girlfriend occasionally mentions that she'd like to get a tattoo, and every day I pray that she never gets round to it. I agree that 90% of tattoos make a person look lowbrow and uneducated or at least too spontaneous for their own good.

Some tattoos look good on girls, like something neutral on the lower back or other rarely-seen areas. Always black, colour tattoos always look dreadful.

Never thought about getting a tattoo. Not a fan of tattoos on girls either.

I often wonder though... will that "significant meaning" really mean anything to you in 30 years? You change... your tattoo doesn't.

More specific to you, don't you wonder what will happen to your tattoo if you ever have kids? Or gain/lose weight? Do you think the tattoo will still hold as much meaning to you in 30 years?

I would imagine that when I'm old, my tiny tattoo fading would be the least of my worries. So I'm not too concerned about that. Plus it's so low on my tummy that it's only visible if I wear super low-cut panties/ pants

My tattoo means 'Passion' or 'Passionate'. That's who I am and who I always will be, so I'm not too worried about it losing its meaning either.

Enigmatik is just trying to get us all hot and shit. She's trying to get us all riled up.

Go on...

TA is just outside of the Forest of Feelings... located in the Forest of Debauchery with its own little region in which the Morans dwell. It isn't a long walk.

I also escaped.

I know someone who got their sister's name tattooed to the inside of their wrist. The sister isn't even dead. Please explain that one.

Yay if it has personal meaning and isn't a cliched piece of shit, as tattoos usually are.

I'd like to get something eventually, I just need to decide on what.

There is nothing to explain. She doesn't have to wait for her sister to die to express how much she means to her. In this case - she chose to express it by getting her name tattooed on her body.

Just a suggestion: When you decide on what tattoo you want, get a temporary one - it can be painted, drawn or airbrushed, or better yet - use Henna (lasts longer).. that way you get used to it, and see if you still like it as time passes before you get a permanent one.

+1. There is nothing to explain. She doesn't have to wait for her sister to die to express how much she means to her. If it's a bloke, however, his sister obviously has big breasts and he chose to express his creepiness by having it tattooed on his body.

I know someone who got a cabbage tattoo, but that's another story for another time.

My friend, not that it makes much of a difference, is a guy. The reason I mention his sister not being dead is because that it's common for people to tattoo the name of their dead relatives(at least where I come from) usually with along with a prayer or some religious imagery. My other friends and I just find it really weird. The guy I'm talking about is a strange dude to begin with.
