PLAIN CITY, Ohio A dairy farm worker was arrested on Wednesday and charged with multiple counts of animal cruelty after an animal rights group released undercover footage showing alleged abuse.
Billy Joe Gregg Jr., 25, of Delaware, was charged with 12 counts of misdemeanor animal cruelty, The animal cruelty charges carry a maximum penalty of 90 days in jail and a $750 fine,

The group, Mercy For Animals, said the video was recorded over the past month at Conklin Dairy Farms, based in Plain City.

Conklin Dairy Cattle Sales issued a statement, saying it conducted an initial review of the video and found it "clearly inconsistent" with high standards set for its farm and workers.

BILLY JOE!!!

Fuckin piece of shit redneck should be shot not charged with a damn misdemeanor...

Billy Joe Gregg Jr sits in jail charged with 12 counts of 2nd degree class misdemeanor animal abuse. He has now petitioned the Judge in the Case to be allowed to finish his exams at the Police Academy where he hopes to become an Officer of the Law. THIS CANNOT HAPPEN!!!! No one capable of stabbing, beating, kicking, stomping, and other atrocities to helpless, benign animals can be allowed to carry a gun or be in service to society in any way, or be granted the POWER that comes with a Law Enforcement position. THIS WOULD BE UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Can you imagine???

A damn cop????

Posted by Intangible on Jun-16-2010 21:15:

a cop ... ... only in America

Posted by Abercrombie on Jun-16-2010 21:25:

what an idiot asking for that permission.... no police, agency, or any job who does background check will ever hire him. Billy Bob will go back to plunging teats the rest of his life.

Has anybody here tried grass fed beef? Row Farms in Toronto has it, and they source all their products from within 100KM of the city.

There is such a thing?!?!?

Thats becoming a rare type of beef. Too bad they cant state so on the package.

I have had LEAN GRASS-FED FREE-RUN BEEF before, but it was over 13 years ago. I must say that organic and naturally derived meat and milk products TASTE BETTER! Especially milk, oh it tastes much much better when its done the old way

Pasture grazed (grass-fed/free range) beef is not difficult to find.

Yup, grass fed is coming back. Most grass fed beef is only 90%, and they still finish with grain/corn. Sometimes Row Farms has 100% grass fed; it is very lean, with very little fat on it, which is why most farmers finish with grain or corn.

I've had organic and 'regular' milk, and I have not noticed a difference in this country, it tastes the same, but is twice as expensive. What does taste different (and better) is non-pasteurized milk.

Posted by Sentinal on Jun-17-2010 19:37:

OMG I guess I better not eat anything dairy ever again.

I've never tried this before... it intriques me.... is it an aquired taste? Is it like buttermilk? Do you drink it straight or mixed with something like Ribena or something?

I have tried that fermented bread-crumb crouton pop you folks like (I forget the name)... and I was ok until about 1/2 the 2L bottle I got, and it stayed in the fridge for a week. I'd have it again, but not 2L worth.

So is this Kefir something I can just go out to the Russian deli that's 2 blocks away from me, but a small portion, and like it just like that, or is it something that's better tried in the company of my Russian speaking friends to truly appreciate it?
