People doing street parking around USC are nuts. I know people every year who do it and get their car broken into.

Had it happen to two friends this year. One of them had a jacket stolen out of his trunk, the other nothing because there was nothing to steal...so just smashed windows.

if you park N of Exposition along Fig you are fine.... i got lucky on friday with a street space by the Felix Chevy dealer... no worries there.

Sat we parked at the Radisson/USC lot for only $25 and it was easy entrance and exiting...

Thanks DaveT for suggesting taking surface streets from the West. That snaked tons of traffic compared to my friends that took the reg exits and sat in traffic for what seemed like hours.

I'll consider myself luck, cuz I got out without a scratch parking a block away for free. From car to inside the gate in 10 mins. Took barely 15 mins from the time I exited EDC until I was on the freeway.
