Rasta

i dont really get what is everybodys problem.

1st of all- This is more a statement of a method than a tutorial.

Is it fun to criticise using your big words?
Why would I be a dick- getting somewhere is getting somewhere.

I think a lot of you like bad mouthing people- its probably your life.
I am just a normal guy, wanting to share and create music,-

So go ahead- say something else, I am not even remotely touched by any bad comments,
because for me- it will always be about the music

If you dont like the tune- then what are you doing on a trance forum?
just as well, i go to a POP forum and go bad mouth some corny commercial boyband.

Plz "critics" post one of your mixes,
or let me guess,, you dont even mix..

I speak for myself and say I'm not here to bad mouth anyone, only to help so hope you took my words on board.

Here you say its a tutorial, but above you now mention its a statement, which is something I also said in a previuos post.

I believe people got on your back because of the way you presented this thread to start with. It was somewhat haphazard and unorganised thats all. Just be a little more clear of your intentions and people will understand what you was trying to convey. The track wasnt all that bad so most people will probably like to listen and give feedback, especially in the Music promotion forum.

To point #1: This is becoming abundantly clear. I think it has something to do with the perceived hubris it took you to author this thread in the way that you did and over a topic which is relatively basic in conjunction with a very limited body of mediocre work. There is also the fact that you continually dismiss the criticism you're receiving. Finally, this forum has probably had enough negativity and has recently turned a corner in that regard. Your posts in this thread, while not entirely antagonistic, exhibit indignation which only really fosters more conflict.

To point #2: The ironic thing is that I was trying to keep my language as simple as possible.

To point #3: Click on my signature or go look in the Music Producer's Promotion Forum. The same can be said regarding others who have posted in this thread. Their music is also easily accessible and might provide you with informal benchmarks applied in critiquing your music.

Your tutorial was not a tutorial but a guide to sound generic. And even if it was a guide to sound generic, you don't give enough details to achieve that so in essence, your tutorial is just a waste of space.

And liking your tune is irrelevant to this being a trance forum. Your song sucked. People like good music regardless of the genre and your track doesn't really inspire.

I also have a suspicion that you wear post 2000 rave clothing and this makes me not like you very much.

I have nothing against you mate, I don't really care if you post a crap tutorial/statement or not. You were trying to help so fair enough.

But the above quote is bullshit. Are you saying that anyone who likes trance will definitely like your tune? Is it not possible for someone to be really into trance but not like certain trance tunes?

Just like a pop music fan might not like every pop tune that comes on the radio, a trance fan won't like every trance tune they hear. Maybe because it just didn't connect with them for whatever reason...or maybe, quite frankly, it just wasn't very good.

No Trance has many different styles. Every country on this planet has different types and likes. To me- Trance is the never ending repetition which embraces nature with its presence.

Dismissing my critics ???

Thats because I dont see anything positive. You cannot use negativity to help anyone,- sharing your negative thoughts is utterly useless to anyone, only break their spirits in a way. Maybe I am arrogant, because many comments were arrogant.

A comment on a forum isnt always global- so if you see it that way, well.
Everybody misunderstood me in the first place- thinking it is a tutorial.

Because in my post it does not say anything about a tutorial, everybody just implied that it was.

I figured I probably posted this forum in the wrong section, and also a huge misunderstanding sprinkled on top.

In the end it does not matter what the topic was, everybody here created something to read for others, so cheers for that , helpful advice or not- it matters having that moment of a good idea

And you never know what will trigger it.

not different views, you are just an idiot. How is trance never ending ? Is there a special vinyl for that or were you just attempting poetry. As far as the link to nature, well you use a fucking computer so figure that one out for me. I would spend less time romanticizing your genre and more time not sucking.

So why did you say that if we don't like your tune, then why are we on a trance forum?

That implies that if we like trance then we should like your tune and that the only possible reason for not liking it is because we do not like trance, therefore having no reason to be on a trance forum in the first place.
