'Wicked'.

I still use it heaps, but no one else I know does any more. It was popular in the late 90s though!

"Awesome" came back in after leaving in the 90s. At least in LA. I say it all the time.

I dunno, did 'awesome' really stop being used? Maybe in LA, I guess, but never around here.

Posted by Jake Benson on Jul-23-2010 06:53:

Yeah maybe 'awesome' never stopped. I just don't remember it in the 90s.

'you got punked'

At some temp job this stupid 40 year old Mexican said this every time someone got fooled or tricked in the office and I wanted to kill him every time.

How about 'rad' or 'radical' for the 90s? I think someone posted that already though, lol.

Haha, good one. I haven't heard that in years. It used to be a surfer thing. "Gnarly curls today man!"

it's ok, there are treatments available.

Posted by Omega_Blue on Jul-23-2010 17:06:

did it ever get popular to say "tits" in place of "awesome" in your high school? that, and wicked, are probably my two least favorite slang terms ever. "Oh man that shit is TITS" sounds so gay

Posted by Silky Johnson on Jul-23-2010 17:17:

Ugh my buddy says tits all the time. And when something sucks he says it's pits. DIE DIE DIE.

never heard "pits" before. if any of my friends ever start using the word "tits" instead of whatever adjective they're replacing it with, i'm ex-communicating them immediately.

right now a couple of my milwaukee friends are on this kick where they yell "OY!" at random moments, more often when they're drunk. (white) kids these days, sheesh.

lol, jabroni. I remember using that all the time when I was 6 and admired Rocky Maiavia.

I used "square" until high school, and then my precal teacher me that died in the 60s.
