Finished Season 4. Really good, but what an irritating ending! I don't even understand how that happened. spoilers below:
Did Arthur kill Rita, or did she kill herself? If it was Arthur, how the hell did that happen? Are we supposed to assume he found something at Deb's that led him to Dexter's place? If that's the answer, my suspension of disbelief is de-suspendified. Nonsense.
Regardless, killing Rita sucks, and seeing Harrison in blood just put the whole thing over-the-top. Rita finally got tolerable (in persona and appearance), and I was really liking the whole 'normal Dexter' development. I guess he can get back to being good at killing now, though.
Last, ENOUGH WITH BATISTA & LA GUERTA. I am so sick of seeing those two tubbies embarrassing themselves. Nobody cares. I'd rather listen to Debra fake cry than watch any more of those two 'sorting out their feelings.' FUCK.

i hate her more every season but i think, soon enough she'll find out about dexters dark passenger and be the only one that really understands him/backs him up. i hope he ends up telling her, and about how harry helped him control it. fucking every time i watch dexter i end up getting pissed because it goes by so quick! can't wait for the next episode
also, i got chills in the bathroom scene where he just levels that guy, collapses on the floor and starts screaming. oh man

We just got the BR's delivered to the station today, so I'll be watching the whole fucking season at the office tonight with some of my co-workers. Sucks that we can't take them home lol, but there's a veranda just by the room we're watching it in, so I can still pop out for doobie-snacks without missing a second hehe.

To be honest, I thought the last season ended kinda badly, and I thought it should have been ended there instead. This is mostly because of the loss of a character so close to Dexter.
Despite of this they have managed to keep this fresh, with new and original ideas and the introduction of many new characters/adversaries that manages to carry a whole new level of depth and strong emotions to the screen.
I wont reveal much, seeing that i practically sold my soul to the Devil to be able to watch this. But expect awesome action scenes, brilliant plans and schematics, acting that will bring the tears out of your eyes, new and macabre inventions and of course the hilarious bickering and witty banter that goes on between Dexter and Dee Dee.
