55 days

I'm not a huge fan either. I mean I can take videogame samples in a set, just not when it's 500+ bpm. Was never a fan of hardcore and hard trance. More so hardcore.

I'd rather listen to ambient techno (yes yes I know but it's I'd rather that then want to gouge my ears out with q-tips).

Same.

Back in the day, I made the mistake of buying a Happy Hardcore cd, thinking it was going to be regular trance. By far the worst music I've ever heard. I immediately regretted that purchase, and threw the cd in the garbage. I learned my lesson! lol

You seriously can't compare Yoji's style to happy hardcore...

My post wasn't meant to compare happy hardcore to Yoji. In fact, it wasn't comparing anything at all! lol

I somehow remember myself being at the guv (was it mastiksoul can't remember?) when yoji played here. He was fucking awful, cheesy hardtrance with gay melodies in between when he was waving hands. I mean he played hardtrance remixes of tetris and KALINKA, lol. However, it was not as bad as when I saw deadnouse or villalobos...

He makes club pics look good
his music..um...different! lol

Is 'not handling the beats' the same as listening to awfully shitty music? (just shit disturbing)

That track is Timo Maas- Subtellite (Sharam Remix). I like it too, it has a nice mysterious dark techy vibe going for it. I like tracks that make me think I'm trying to solve some sort of mystery, because you don't know where tracks like that are gonna take you. I'd use it as a bridge track but I think too many of those type of songs played in a row can get boring fast perhaps.

I'm not a hard trance fan... Yoji plays waaay too fast but I did like some of the hard trance that Judge Jules had on his Clubber's Guide to Ibiza Summer 2000 compilation. That mix was crazy!
