I dunno, I have mixed feelings about the whole locked car idea. I'm in love with my car. I'd rather them open the door and take what they want than smash my window or pry the lock cylinder (bending the door up). Both are situations I've dealt with, btw.

Keep stuff hidden and get an alarm. Won't prevent everyone from robbing your car but it lessens the chances.

i think the physical theft of digital entertainment is seriously under rated. i was stealing expensive PC and console titles well before the advent of torrents. though i got caught once when i swapped the pricing sticker on golden axe on one occasion. good times.

the good news was though that they trashed the car so badly it was written off and i could buy, you guessed it, a new PC.
