Guys, this really was a kick-ass mix. I really enjoyed the slower stuff at the beginning. Set the mood really well, IMO. I bet it was a sweet party.

I've still got a total hard-on for that Ichisan track, and now (thanks Bas!) I can't get the following lyrics out of my head FOR DAYS

"Beam me up, Beam me up, Beam me up, Beam me up, Beam me uptown"

"Beam me down, Beam me down, Beam me down, Beam me back downtown"

It's a great track

It is a great track Definitely one of my summer jams for sure

I'm also happy (or sad?) that the Dolly Parton track has grown on me an awful lot.

Never thought I'd ever type something like that

I think, though, it's because my gf and I have watched all of season 1 and half of season 2 of True Blood in the last 2 weeks. It seems to fit so well with that whole 'southern' thing, hahaha

Posted by bas on Aug-17-2010 08:30:

It totally does

Awesome set guys. Lots of hot tracks in there, 'Keep It Cheap' is fucking awesome. nice dropping the new mount kimbie, too.

But yeah, sounded like an awesome party...I gotta get out there one day. still need to get around to those other sets, too.

Posted by Sushipunk on Aug-21-2010 11:54:

Fuck you, Bas.

As soon as I heard that one on the Mount Kimbie album I knew I wanted to play it early on the roof! Just perfect track for the setting. Such a great album, really happy to have just discovered them

Glad you enjoyed

Anywhere that sells vinyl , I got mine from a local shop but you can probably grab it on phonicarecords.com or juno.co.uk.

That's also vinyl, all their stuff is

No idea who Tiger & Woods are, seems to be a mystery, but I think they're also producing under Cleo & Patra (or that's just someone else on the Editainment label).

I strongly recommend buying the Keep It Cheap vinyl, such a dope EP. Both sides, so so so so good

It's actually your fault for not buying the record

I don't think that makes it ok to start stealing music, but whatever to each his own

Posted by osterzone on Sep-08-2010 18:51:

Why is the recording for this so soft? I have to turn up the volume twice as loud to hear anything, and when I do I lose some of the bass and get more treble.

First half hour wasn't bad. I'll be listening to this in chunks though.

Posted by epicaricacy on Sep-08-2010 18:52:

you can get the louder version at beatport for 2.49$

Posted by bas on Sep-08-2010 19:18:

Not sure why yours is soft

Try listening to the Soundcloud version (in first post), is that any better?

Posted by epicaricacy on Sep-08-2010 19:32:

soundcloud streams at 128.
