Wrong. Start going to small independent coffee shops. You will never drink the crap at Starbucks, etc...

Some really good ones in Toronto
The best by far is Te Aro - http://www.te-aro.ca/
Bisogno - http://www.blogto.com/cafes/bisogno
Mercury - http://mercuryespresso.com/
Sam James - http://samjamescoffeebar.com/

lol If I'm going to pay $5 for a coffee, I shouldn't have to put the milk and sugar in, they should do it, do it properly and stir it dammit! hahaha

j/k I usually make coffee at home. If I'm just craving the taste of coffee or a breakfast sandwich/cheese crois. I'll go to Tim Horton's. If I actually need a waker or a good coffee, I'll go to Starbucks, or some other cafe.

Agreed, even a single medium Tim Horton's coffee makes me jittery as all fuck and I feel awful for the rest of the day.

I swear to christ I'm the only TTC employee that doesn't drink coffee, lol. Most of the people I work with can't function without it either. Sucks having a crutch like that but we all have our vices

I drink it rarely but tea FTW!!

They need new coffee. You know you are hurting when McDonald's has more superior quality than what you are known for.

I never used to be a fan of Earl Grey, but then I had Stash Tea's Earl Grey and it changed my life.

earl grey is ok, it has a very plain taste..i have it when theres nothing else avail

overall tea in bags is not as good as an unbagged ones that you buy in big boxes, the flavour is unmatched especially with indian tea but it takes long time to prepare, i do it sometimes for special occasions.

i already said that but best bagged black tea imo is

(could be any brand)

Are you insane? Early Grey is very floral and citrus-y...which is why I never liked it. Probably one of the least plain teas out there. Pretty distinct in flavour. Maybe you're thinking of English Breakfast?

Posted by geroin on Aug-12-2010 15:14:

i know what you mean but after drinking earl grey for a long time it became too plain for me. the reason you feel that taste is because of the bergamot presence which in itself tastes too plain for me

english breakfast is tim hortons of tea for me, do not like that one too much.

ps. there is a really sweet place that has like 30 different kinds of teas in yorkville and they prepare it properly, amazing place but it costs like 25 bucks for a small kettle with tea in it lol

Posted by Silky Johnson on Aug-12-2010 15:16:

No Gera, you're definitely insane. *slap*

earl grey has no personality to it.
