Bass: Mostly 3xOsc, but sometimes Sytrus if I want a special timbre.
Plucks: Sytrus
Arps: Sytrus
Pads: Sytrus, sometimes from the demo of Harmless, Toxic Biohazard or Ogun
Leads: 3xOsc and Sytrus
SFX/Wierd: Tweaked samples and Sytrus
Real instruments: Samples, Fruity Soundfont Player, DirectWave

So in bottom line, no VST's, I only use FL Studio 9 native plugins.

Leads - Sylenth1, Virus B often with a Vanguard layer
Plucked sounds - Harmless, Sylenth1, Vanguard, Virus B
Pads - Atmosphere
Techy layers - Gladiator, Vanguard, AAS-UA1
Fx & weird shit - All of the above fucked with external FX

Fuck, I need to get out more in terms in synths.

I just find myself grabbing predator for some many sounds, from basses to weird noises, to leads.

Basses: As Above but also Minimoog V2 and imposcar.
Plucks, pads and leads: Vanguard - Vstation - Massive - Absynth - pro53
SFX: Samples, absynth and FM7

its an amazing synth really - such a wide variety of sounds, i was messing about in the Spectral (i think) window and managed to draw a sound lol

I've never ever heard anyone mention the Jupiter 8 by Arturia - it's been in FM's recommended synths for ages though (mind you I don't trust thier league tables at all based on past experience and I'm sure they can be commercialy motivated - as example suboombass has been thier number 2 recommended softsynth for months yet no one but no one on these forums seems to rate it).

Haven't used the Arturia synths - IDK, maybe I'm weird, but I really get turned off by software companies that try too hard to make their products look, sound, feel, smell, etc. "analogue". It's such an overrated concept IMO anyway and I'll die a happy man if I never have to hear another f***ing "Lucky Man" demo - that song sucks, the sound sucks, and the solo sucks (there, I said it! ). That said, I love what FXpansion has done with their DCAM synths. I used to love and recommend SubBoomBass, but since getting DCAM (Strobe, in particular) and Trilian, SBB has pretty much gone unused and will likely hit the KVR marketplace at some point.

Predator and Blue LE my first 2 commercial plugins after a very long time using only Reason (9 years). Still getting deeper into them day by day. A bunch of freebies here, especially for the unusual sounds.
