If you don't understand the basics of DJing (like knowing what a crossfader is) you're not going to understand any DJ software. It's possible the software you already have works okay, but if you don't know how a transition works you'll be stumbling in the dark trying to create one.
Send an application to VINCENT. If he blesses you with his grace, he'll mix it so smoothly for you it may as well be a symphony 
Well I downloaded and tried the automix and that seems to not do what I want it to do. It will load up the track(s) and have the bpms already set for each song, but there wasnt anywhere I could figure out how to edit the bpms, and then save them so that they play on that set bpm. So if the track is already calculated at 140.00 bpm and I want to decrease the bpm rate to 128.00, there doesnt seem to be a way to do it. I can go into the track itself and change the bpm in there, but when the track reloads back up, its still calculated at its original bpm default.
SO, I uninstalled that software and tried to DeckaDance and that seemed to do more options, but again, there wasnt any location I could edit the bpm's without manually moving the crossover and fader and resaving the track at the requested bpm. I know theres softare out there that automatically adjusts the song to the bpm rate you set each track too without you having to play the song or manually adjust the faders and crossovers and such.
I think theres a software out there a friend told me in the past that actually might work for me. I think its called Ableton or something like that to where its more for editing music. Cause I dont want to mix the tracks or anything like atomix and this deckadance softare seems to do. All I want to do is edit the tempo and bpms for each track and then save them, so later on when I DO want to mix the tracks together, I wont be trying to learn what you guys do in mixing. I can just put one track over the other and the matching bpms should make it easier for them to fit one another, if this makes sense.
Using a program like Traktor with auto-sync to me sounds easier compared to what you want to do with saving tracks to other bpm's.

For editing tracks I use Wavelab for many years now.
use mixmeister, its by far the easiest
just drag the tunes in a playlist, it calculates the bpm automatically, you can then sort them by bpm or set them all at the same speed
as to transitions, you can just set it automatically (8,16,32,64 bars)
in 80% mixmeister will do an ok mix on its own, sometimes it gets the beats wrong and then you have to slightly adjust it or change the intro and outro but its much easier than with "real time" mixing software where you can always screw up whereas in mixmeister you do transition after transition and record whenever your happy

MIXMEISTER WILL DO EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IN AN EASY VISUAL WAY.
QUIT TRYING OTHER SOFTWARE AS YOU FAIL HORRIBLY.
