Actually I'm getting in gear to depart for New Jersey tomorow morning.

Real Madrid - AS Roma friendly at East Rutherford

Yes I'm a lucky bastard but this will cost $$$ for only one day, I'm coming right away.

hahahhaha 0-0
how was the game hehe

I heard fans started throwing lighters at Zidane & Co mid way through the second half

In the meantime Toronto kicked Montreal's arse in front of a packed Claude Robillard

If you have nothing to do on the 18th of August I suggest you drive down to Toronto for what is to be a highly electric encounter between Toronto and Montreal again; A dozen of Montreal Ultras is expected to make the trek but watch out for the show that the Toronto Ultras are preparing for the day

The first 70 minutes were very exciting...but then when they pulled off all the stars, it slowed down and people started booing which sucks big time IMO.

I didn't like the american crowd one bit, lots of them were drunk and they didn't stop moving around which is very distracting. I was in section 107 row 24 which was excellent and still some times people were standing up for no reason etc...

But still it was an amazing experience, seeing the elite of the world on the field, Zidane, Figo, Morientes, Batistuta, Carlos(agh), etc etc... I had never attended an European-grade soccer game!

Next year Manchester is coming, and I heard they would play Bayern Munich!!! I'll go back for sure!

Thanks for the invitation but I think I have a party to go to on Saturday and it would be impossible to drive to TO the next day, plus I hate driving (but that's another story)

i think boro are really gonna suprise everyoen thsi season, our team is top drawer now, all we really need isanother top striker and a left winger and we would have one amazing team for a non premiership contender. we are simialr to newcastle last season but have a better defence but less striking options, so who knows. maybe big things in a few years to come!

Hay, i think otherwise...

Hearts are above rangers in the league right now!!!!

Manchester United WINS THE PREMIER LEAGUE AGAIN
Manchester United WINS THE EUROPEAN CUP or at least reaches the semis

oh yeah.....dennis wise will be banned from football for doing something stupid. First Manager to be sacked...hmmmm....i'll go with Tottenham.....i guess......who knows. Someone will be arrested again for a nightclub brawl in england. I expect a mass brawl in the next rangers - celtic game and the next barca - real game. Oh yeah....i expect the war of words between arsenal and man utd.....to get very nasty and i expect micheal owen to announce he is gay

Posted by Nook on Aug-14-2002 10:04:

well, Feyenoord won, offcourse!!!!!!!!!

thanks to this man: Shinji Ono

now we will win the game @ fenerbahce and are in the champions league. it is so simple.

my avatar says it all.....

go Man-U!!!

Posted by Teknikol on Aug-14-2002 10:50:

Party Hat

Feyenoord won!!!

Sjinji's goal was very good. He saw that the keeper expected that he would shoot the ball diagonal, but he didn't and I yelled so hard the neighbours probably could hear it

You have to stay realistic...or not?

Allright THEY WIN THE CHAMPIONSLEAGUE!!!

AND ALSO THE WORLD CUP FOR CLUBTEAMS!!!

THEY WIN EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by malek on Aug-14-2002 18:56:

ok guys come back on earth...

Feyenoord is all right in Holland, they got lucky at the european level but that's all. I remember when Bayern trashed Feyenoord every time they met in the champions league.

Feyenoord is good but not in the same level as Real, Arsenal, Bayern,..

Posted by Teknikol on Aug-14-2002 19:48:

[back on earth]

I am exaggerating a little little bit but I have to disagree with you about the luck.

If you look at the list of teams they beated, you can't speak of luck anymore.

(like borussia, inter, glasgow rangers I can't remember the rest)

Exactly

Abyway, I just wanna see in the next year's Champions League, entering as champions in their countries, Benfica (of course!), Barcelona, PSG, AC Milan, Bayern Mnchen, Manchester United (with good old Queirs as assist for Ferguie), Feyenoord, Anderlecht, and a "bonus track" called Spartak Moskva (forgive me Spartak fans ), and in the end a final Benfica - Feyenoord

Vs.
