As far as flops go, I think the Texans will got max 4 wins but will still do better than the Panthers, Bengals and prolly the Lions again. As for a good team flopping, watch the Dolphins struggle.

While this statement is true in all the teams will have 5 or less wins, none can be considered flops. If you expect nothing then you cant be disapointed with nothing right (In the case of bengals/panthers/lions.) As far as texas goes I dont think an expansion team has ever had a winning season there first year, so thats not fair, but there gonna be great down the road. I also agree with oyu about the dolphins, Ricky Williams hasn't seem to impress me much and I lost a huge amount of faith when they got smashed by the redskins(No disrespect to the skins). They turned the ball over a million times and had about 0 d. Its the preaseason but it looks ugly.

Additionally I still think the rams are the team to beat, with the bucs right behind them. I think one of the two will end up playing vs denver in the super bowl. Additionally I think the colts will really turn it up and post a winning record this season. Edgerrin James is back, which should add points right there, as well as make Peyton Mannings job easier, he will throw less intercpetions and more touchdowns. FInally Tony Dungee is a defensive genius and I see there defense being much better than it was last year.

Nadi, you are right. The Texans and those teams aren't flops. I shoulda said teams that are going to get flattened...

TechnoAddict, I think the Dolphins are going to flop for a few reasons. First, Ricky Williams doesn't have the O-line in Miami as he did at New Orleans. Second, Jay Fiedler is not a quarterback that can really get his team going and he's always struggling. He isn't that great to begin with. Their defence is their best weapon, but not when the offence can't contribute. Third, the Dolphins aren't in the easiest division, but their opponents aren't pushovers. They will be hard-fought matches with the Jets and Pats... and I think the easiest division has gotta be Tampa's, the NFC South (Bucs, Falcons, Saints, Panthers). Easy money

I agree w/ your point about the bucs, they are going to be a very good team no doubt. But they also are going to wn there division essentially by default. Im not sure how good the pats will be this year either, last year everything fell in place and they were able to do amazing things without as much talent as it should take to do it, they wont get all those breaks this year. Furthermore, there running game doesnt look to great, and there offensive line looks pretty bad too. In all the other areas im just not sure if they have the level of skill needed to get the job done.

The Falcons are my team. The Michael Vick era has begun!! 4-0 in preseason (even though that doesn't mean much)

BTW, you "grass fairies" go bounce your ball around with your feet.

Now now, play nice. Football and American Football are all great. Each their own.

Btw, I'm starting a new thread called NFL weekly picks where you just toss down your predictions for the upcoming week, even though I'm a day late. Hope to see lots of predictions there. Cheers.

Only in my dreams...

I think the whole NFC is very overrated this year. A sleeper team might emerge from it to go to the Super Bowl. Looking at the week 1 results, I think it might be the Falcons or Saints, and I still like the Seahawks if they can play better team defense and get Trent Dilfer back.

In the AFC, I like the entire AFC East, but don't count out the Raiders, Broncos and Titans either.

I like the Patriots, with Brady as a QB and other players. Plus what they have showed in the last two games impressed me, and Brady knows what plays to exacute and didn`t get picked even once yet and has few TD under his belt, you might say cause they didn`t played against a team that has a chance to win the SuperBowl maybe, but show me other team that is playin well, Denver maybe, TB not really New Orleans looked better and they still do against teams as Tampa or even St Louis.
