I won't comment on the whether or not there is merit to the accusations of war crimes on any party; however, I will point out that the laying of charges for same or even demanding the laying of charges for same will scuttle any reasonable prospect of peace negotiations being productive let alone successful.

If you take away the ethnic identity and religious components, you're actually left with the profile of a mass murderer. Minus those elements and you have a simple work-place shooter or some other commando-style wank who goes into a place, kills a bunch of people, and then kills themselves.
