This is an extremely hard question but if I had to choose one, it would have to be System F - Out of the Blue. Even to this day whenever there is a non believer as I like to call them and I'm trying to convert them over to the trance side, I play this song and 9 out of 10 times they are taken back by it.

My favorite song is definetly "Chakra - Love shines through" - the most emotional trance song ever!!!

But there are also other great songs which are almost as good as my #1...like AvB - Communication or DJ Tiesto - In My Memory...its very hard to choose the number one...

i have decided for myself that i don't have a favorite tune a long time ago. now what i'm gonna do right now is list some of my favorite classics that i will never get tired of listening to. they're all my favorite, in nor particular order. please, bare with me and don't cry cuz it's more than 1 :

Paul Van Dyk - For An Angel (E-Werk Remix, or what's it called?)
Nu NRG - Dreamland (Original Mix)
Airscape - L'Esperanza (every single remix)
Olive - You're Not Alone (every single remix)
Delerium feat. Sarah McLachlan - Silence (Airsape & Tiesto remixes)
ATB feat. Wild Strawberries - Let U Go (i believe i have every single remix of this tune and i like every single one )

+there's some more, but it's hard for me to remember as my HDD with mp3s is currently broken and i can't browse through them.

I guess 1999 was the year the best trance was made.... also Vincent de Moor - Shamu, Gouryella, Out Of The Blue are from that period... I need to listen to some of these tracks again or start mixing my "best trance anthems ever" mix-cd (wanted to do that for a long time)...

I will have to say my favorite tune to this day is still

Genetic-Purple Haze from Nick Warren's Budapest GU release. this was also the first compilations i have ever brought since i just got into the trance house music in the summer of 1999. i remember first hearing the track. it just made me feel like driving so fast and flying high through the clouds lightning speed.

i love putting this track on with a good loud volume and my sub up full volume. it sound so futuristic

Im sorry there is no way I can answer this! It depends what mood im in like Psy mood, prog mood, melodic mood, bangin mood. This is impossible! There are so may songs and not one stands out as the best!
But everu song mentioned in this thread to now is awsome!
