How do you plan to transport 20+ to Governors Island with only ferry boats? I'm ok with that if you decided to build a bridge for us but that's still not enough

I actually like the idea of festivals in shitty areas as it's worth the price.

I think they should transport all the prisoners off of Rikers Island for the weekend and hold Electric zoo inside the prison itself. Install porta potties inside the jail cells, clear out the cafeteria for the trance acts, main stage can be that outdoor area where the prisoners get to exercise, and if they clear out all the chairs from the execution room that could be used for as the house or techno arena. They can even hook up an amazing light system if they channel the electricity from the electric chair into a laser.

lol

Bindra would probably get it for a good price

They should do Electric Zoo at Liberty State Park in Jersey City next year... They've had 2 huge rock festivals there past couple years, I think it could work. They could maybe make it an overnight/weekender.

It's right near ferries, busses, and subways.

That's really the only option to hold more people than Randall's and will allow the event to be thrown. If people think getting out of NYC to Randall's is bad, they'll find Liberty State to be worse, though. I live in Manhattan and when I went to All Points West in 2008, it was a bitch.

I vote Rikers Island, we can even transport inmates from there to tents in Randalls Island where they can suffocate from dust!

The dust was not nearly as much of an issue last year, in fact I don't think it was mentioned at all, so it should be a simple fix.

Finally, all those acts play like 1hr sets, is this a 'amateur dj hour everyone gets a slot' type of festival? Wouldn't it be more cost effective to book 4 DJs per 'area' who play 3-4hrs each. I mean fuck it, just do an allstar line up, like Tiesto, Ferry, Armin, and PVD @ Main Stage, then the true colors will show who is the number 1 dj.

From a listeners standpoint we would always want a full set but the fact of the matter is a larger array of DJ's brings in a wider audience. More DJ's = more ticket sales.

Tiesto a lone charges upwards to 80 per ticket, having tiesto, ferry, armin AND PVD you could charge like $160 per ticket. Forget everyone else, it'll be a jesus pose battle
