I signed up for OKcupid in boredom and went on a couple of dates with crazies. That's the good thing about online dating though you can weed through them fast and its standard to go dutch. do they tell everyone that's how they met? that's the only problem really, I think the internet makes a bit of sense when you want to expand the realm of people you would normally meet. But, when people ask how you met it's a lame story...I say it was on craigslist casual encounter's just to get an adverse reaction, but she just tells everyone it was through friends.

Ive used them before. Had one fatty that I bailed on but the others were DTF. Its nice for a quick fix or a rebound after a serious relationship. Its a bit awkward on the meetup sometimes but usually involves booze so it helps. Im actually seeing one from plenty of fish about once or twice a week while dating the cute girl that works next door. Got the whore and the house wife at the moment. Girls have it easy on those sites. Just pick one you like. Guys have to send out quite a few messages before you get a bite. Usually I end up with a girl that sent me a message.
