I've been this way for years (at least 3) & get therapy for it. I have Asperger's (dx 2007 Dec) & have trouble making friends in real life & have little money. Anyone who knows anything about AS knows it can be very difficult for those of us with it to make friends, 'network', & do anything that involves a lot of socialising. Hell I can't even get back to school until a defaulted small student loan of under 1K USD is paid off. I've tried looking for work & finding people that need their computers fixed but not much at all in the last 3 years. 1000 really isn't that much money these days but not having a place to go every day to earn that money is one of the current hurdles I am at.
