Fair enough. There are many djs that play a distinct sound that is probably made up of their own productions or those of label mates. I guess what I'm thinking, and perhaps some others as well, is that the chart doesn't necessarily reflect what the dj is playing most often - or is truly representative of what he/she thinks is their top 10 at that particular moment. I may be wrong - and it happens WAY too often for my liking, but I don't usually take anything at face value anymore. Cheers.

N.B. Maybe a distinction should be made between djs who play only their tracks and those of label mates and others who incorporate different sounds in their sets. Hell, what do I know I'm just cynical and if I were in a similar position I'd be looking to get paid somehow.

This is one DJ to whom I would actually give the benefit of doubt. I've seen him a few times - a couple sets at Aria in Montreal and the NYD party at Circa at the beginning of the year - and his sets always bring out a DARK, kinky vibe that is truly his own. Cheers.

look i used to be a massive fan of his but lately his label's sound and attitude has changed, especially when he jumped on the tribal bandwagon again even though he claimed he would never play a tribal track again.

Sounds like you've gotten over the 'what everyone else thinks about me' mentality that holds so many people back in this world. Downloaded one of your sets off Tribe last year and was pleasantly surprised. I think it was a July 09 from a local radio show or podcast, but can't be sure.
