It could be construed as bagging on another style of music which is an important part of the whole house music scene.. I simply think that such a view is rather narrow-minded.
desyn played more then that i guess...any idea for more parts?

There is good nu-disco and there is bad nu-disco. Most of what is being played out there atm labeled as nu-disco is just slowed down deep house imo, and a bunch of it is very boring.
Skele Cam: I do like a bunch of disco records myself, just digg a little deeper than the nudisco section on beatport. Anthony Mansfield as you say is class, I rate him, same with Todd Terje, Prince Thomas, Diskjokke, Nick Chacona, Nicholas, the list goes on. What I am tired of is all the bandwagon jumpers who played minimal 2 years ago, because that was the thing then. Ah well I shall stop my rant, wasnt the intention of the post. Tried to point out that I thought Desyns set was great, but prob has something to do with it that I was there for the full set, got drunk and hanged out with some new cool friends too 
Didnt just big up Desyn because he is a friend, he is still one of the best out there imo, and has some of the most amazing music you can get your hands on.

i totally agree with you erik about the bandwagon jumpers that played minimal 2 years ago and now are playing this filtered house/disco sound just cuz it's 'in'. but what i was referring to about desyn is the music he played from 2004-2007 or so and compare it too this set, you can tell his style has totally changed. we all know edm has evolved over the years going through a variety of different trends and styles, i just would never have thought desyn would play tracks like he does now a few years ago..not like there's anything wrong with that, i mean if you compare anything that i played from 2004-2007 and now i'm sure you can tell i evolved and changed a bit as a dj too. i guess its inevitable to any dj in the scene nowadays to kind of evolve and change style's as you see fit...
it also seems like every dj has there heyday and glory days in which the records people are putting out, fit the style that the dj is going for. desyn's heyday seems to be that in 04-07 sound which seemed very happy, upbeat and just quality house music (all very disco influenced), closest thing to that sound to me nowadays, is that nu-disco sound that's coming out now which is why i put the argument out there to begin with.

Balerik is right in what he says as is what I said earlier about the set being played to the live crowds needs rather than the online audience.
BUT that still leaves the question open.. Who decided that this section of the live set was good enough to represent him on an online radiostation?
DJing online means you are going out as a guest on a radio station to a broad selection of people and this is where you need to impress new listeners surely as well as give your current fans something special and remind them why they love your music.
Tom says at the start that desyn needs no introduction but believe it or not, there are still alot of people who have never heard of him. The set was poorly chosen considering it's audience, which in itself is poor DJing if it was desyn himself that sent the mix over.
Desyn will still remain my favourite DJ as will SOS as my favourite act but watching them both live recently, the 2006 version of themselves still rule compared to them at the moment.
Desyn chose the part of the set that was aired. Maybe he will release the full set at some point... I dont know.
That's a nice thought, I hope he does, as a long live set I think people will understand the mix better. How he got the that point, how he progressed from that section we heard etc etc.
In reply to their not being enough good house out there. I think that's rubbish. I can't say I would be able to find it myself but there are enough DJs out there still finding that stuff. So it must still be out there.
Defo, tonns of great music out there, finding loads every week after browsing through about 14.000 tunes every week, hard work, was defo easier when it was only vinyl out there...
