EDM scenes in Montreal and Toronto are best.. I'd say Toronto's is a little bigger, but bigger doesn't mean better.
Living in Toronto and Vancouver is much more expensive then living in Montreal, but our politicians in Quebec are fucking thieves. If you're a professional, getting a job in Toronto or Vancouver will probably be much easier. Toronto's the financial capital of Canada, most of the HQs are over there.
Vancouver is probably the nicest place to live what with the ocean on one side and the mountains on the other, I heard it rains a lot over there though.
I personally find Toronto is just a big fucking city and that's it.. there's no charm to it whatsoever. Montreal is European-feeling, more cultured I guess.
Another option would be moving to Calgary/Edmonton, business is booming down there... lots of opportunity if you're an entrepreneur.
you can move to Newfoundland as well.
i've been clubbing in vancouver, toronto and montreal the two eastern cities have more going on but vancouver isn't so bad and it definitely doesn't just bring the big names of 10 years ago. also you've got seattle right there, smaller scene by far but they still get decent talent.
i'm partial to vancouver just because i'm from the pacific northwest but the other two cities are most definitely livable places. i couldn't deal with the taxes though.
