This get together needs to be much less vertical than the last.

We're keeping it pure horizontal this time baby!

Amazing that they can keep the subway open 24 hours for mayor millers big to do but its not possible any other weekend. Same with 4 am licence. It should be 4 am every weekend.

While I agree that our TTC should operate later.... you can't compare this night with any other weekend. How many other events bring in close to a million people?

a million people?

Well id say that probably that many people go out every night in this city. Close to it anyways. Whether its bars, pubs, late movies or clubs. And more would if the transit was better.

Going to check out the show I wanted to go last year, but from the sounds of it I hope it's better this year. lol. Vandalizing bastards though. I hope the art doesn't get wrecked by drunk ppl like you guys said happened before... I'm still really looking forward to seeing the installations though.

Will be nice to see you again, Barb

Woot

That's awesome Carney! I'll definitely be checking this out.

Del that's badass!

I missed out on a shitload of stuff to do this weekend b/c of work but it's ok. Always another time.

I heard One Night in Hackney.

Agreed. The rest was pretty underwhelming... I found Doors Open more exciting

went one year...saw some stupid robots drawing random lines on the sidewalk.

havn't been back since.

This was my 4th nuit blanche and was really unimpressed.

Nathan Philips Square was the best though

Very cool thing going on there

The random stuff in the various parks was fun... great place to blaze too while walking around.

P.S. Bringing my beer backpack was awesome! Was rollin' with a BIH all night while touring Toronto with good peeps Had 12 cold cans chilling on ice on my back over the night. Brilliant idea if I do say so myself

I enjoyed the nice surprises I ran into throughout the night... It was worth me going out to see this

The iPhone app this year also didn't help as much as I thought it would. Not very user friendly. The map feature didn't highlight stuff to see around me, like as if it didn't do what it was supposed to do.

Great running into random friends nonetheless

This was my first Nuit Blanche and I thought it was amusing - but a little disappointing as well.

I enjoyed Dancing With Strangers and the Cruze pavilion.

If I go again, I'm definitely heading out much later...

Posted by kotsy on Oct-04-2010 07:52:

as said before.. not as good as previous years
as if I missed out on nathan philip's

Nuit blanche to me seems more an opportunity to go on a fun, random all-night adventure with good friends through a downtown toronto when it is still alive with ppl and activity despite the hour! All the cool and miscellaneous sights or "things" going on are more of a bonus "neato" factor to your night-walk thru Toronto, instead of being the "reason" for your night-walk.

I viewed it as such, and highly enjoyed my entire night! Thought it was great and a cool experience, something very different to do on a weekend.

this night really needs to be moved to July or August, it's way too cold for the weekend they do it walking around on a summer night is 1000000 more fun!

I said this sooo many times Saturday Night. Like honestly.. is having it during cold weather absolutely necessary?? Even May or June would be better than October
